Are THIS Side League Two Title Favourites!?
League Two looks to be wide open once again, with a number of sides ready to make a challenge for the title.
There’s plenty to like about Port Vale’s business so far this transfer window, can they now be considered favourites for the title?🤔

One Signing Each League Two Team Should Make - The Real EFL
🎉 cheers for that I hope you are right ✅️ 😊
Adam is quite salty isnt he?
So true. Very annoying tbh.
@@RealEFL Its okay, I am sure he will come around eventually. Personally I look forward to it.
Tomorrow might be tricky but he can come around on Wednesday if you want some company?
@@RealEFL I'll have the kettle ready to boil. That way we can have tea that matches the temperature of his piss
Don't think he likes tea. Prefers drinking your tears if memory serves me correctly.
It really is what teams finish behind Birmingham 👍👍👍👍
I know nothing about Rovers nor League One (only just getting back into Championship right now) but this video is ace, well laid out points. 👍
Thank you!🙌
Rooney has to go in Gary Neville. He’s given praise for his performance at Derby but people often forget his assistant manager was Liam Rosenior. Without Rosenior he’s been awful and some of his punditry and interviews just make me laugh.
If he doesn’t do well at Plymouth, reckon he’ll manage to get a job elsewhere?
@@RealEFL not in England but maybe abroad. Purely based on his name being Wayne Rooney and the following and media attention he’ll bring to the club he joins.
@@RealEFL - I think he'll definitely get another job. As a Birmingham fan, it was incredible to see the amount of press coverage we got when he got the job. We were the lead story everywhere with every pundit out there having a say. Other clubs will want some of that. Of course, there's always Saudi as well.... I didn't see anything though during his time at the club that would suggest he'll bring any level of success to Plymouth. It was really bizarre football to watch.
Nice to hear all the Birmingham fans bigging your signings up. Seriously league 1 is a tough league. Good luck from a Trotters fan.
Nice to hear your opinions chaps.
I know its only pre season 🤣 but so far we haven't done as well as i'd hoped 4-2 win Melksham and 1-0 win to bath. Need a striker should be okay for top 12 I think
It’s only pre-season and with such a large number of players coming in it may take a bit of time for everyone to gel. Not as confident as your username suggests now?😅
@@RealEFL yeah all true I think we need at least top 14 otherwise we are just a boring league 1 team. Hahaha you never know 😍
May is the best signing of all the moves so far and would be a marquee for any side also the reported 755k is just press talk It was a lot less than that. He will Brack the 30-goal mark in the Birmingham side.
are you going to rate each teams windows near the end ?
Keep an eye out for that potentially next month👀
Great video! earned a sub! keep it up lads!
Thank you Jack!🙌
Alfie May is our fox in the box, proven goal scorer if we get out of this league at the first attempt then money well spent. KRO SOTV
U guys ent got a clue seriously Alfie will get out of league and we ent no Portsmouth we have money
Can someone translate this for me?
@@TheStaceyWest You guys haven't got a clue seriously, Alfie will get us out of this league. And we aren't Portsmouth, we have money. There you go :).
@@milky5640 'you guys' - you realise I'm not on the video, right?
@@TheStaceyWest I translated it for you Stacey.
@@milky5640 apologies 🤣
Alfie may scores 20 plus goals a season in struggleing sides, Cheltenham and Charlton. Imagine what he’s going to do in a team that’s going to be in the upper end of the league. 1 million for a player that’s going to score 20 plus goals is a stinker? When you talk about Portsmouth they were almost dismantled they struggled so much financially and didn’t have 20 mill to spend on players as they got relegated. We are worlds apart from them when they came down. Do I think we will blitz the league? Absolutely not, I hope quietly we can finish top 6 and maybe even auto. He’s on a 3 year contract so at 35, off he goes having scored bags of goals and hopefully got us into the next step on our journey.and the add ons include promotion, so if we don’t get promoted it won’t have cost us as much. But I’d have been happy spending 2 mill on him if he gets us 20 plus goals.
May will do a job!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 best striker in the league by a country mile! Forget re sale value it makes zero difference for Birmingham they are loaded and have just guaranteed over 25 goals easy. Also id bet any money he would do well in the championship and if he didn’t Birmingham can definitely move him on to a league one club and recoup some money if it didn’t work out!! Excellent signing and will be top scorer without doubt.
Peanut 🥜 we have 20 million to spend 😊
Alfie May is probably the signing of the window! 66 goals in 3 seasons! 750k! Bargain. Regards pompy 12 years. Rotherham 3 times in 7 seasons (i think?) Birmingham are way to big a club to be stuck down there. Got half a championship squad and have recruited well. Massive following and way too much money and power for the league. Theyll probably walk it lads.
Blues were in absolutely desperate need of a striker. The only two we have on the books is Jutkiewicz who's like 34/35 now and we really only signed him onto a new deal for leadership reasons rather than to play, and the other one is Junior Dixon, an acadamy lad who's not even broken through to the first team yet. If Alfie May cost us all of our budget or if I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford him I'd agree. But the Blues Focus wage/relocation figures are BS, and £775k for a guy who's going to score 20 goals in a side that has no real strikers is a brilliant move. We also denied him going to Huddersfield for that too which directly weakens a promotion rival. But I also don't think it's anywhere close to our budget. Not sure on the £20m budget rumours at all as that'd be insane, but we did just sign Emil Hansson from Hercules in the Netherlands for £1.5m and he's a winger that I saw even a Swansea fan say "blimey didn't think we'd have a chance of him, Birmingham getting him in league one is unreal". We're going to spend, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us break the transfer record in the league. Alfie May by comparison is a good value signing in a position we desperately needed someone in.
If May helps get us promoted this is a no brainer. The transfer fee is immaterial. We've just got several hundred thousands a week off our wages with the release of the likes of Hogan, Sunjic, Roberts & Gardner. I know people are waiting for us to fail but we have the largest income, largest budget, 16,000 season tickets sold already and if you take out the Rooney fiasco we would easily have finished top half of the Championship. Nobody will take league 1 for granted. However, you cannot compare Brum with the likes of Pompey, Derby etc. They were all in a right state financially when relegated. Blues are in the best state off the pitch they have been for well over a decade. The only question for me is the manager. Can he translate his vast coaching experience into this league - particularly Nov to March when some of the pitches will not be what most are used to. It'll be unforgiving at times and we will see the outcome in due course!
Great point!
birminghams team without getting anyone in will win the league may's a bonus
Ahadme had a better minutes per goal ratio than May last season, bit of research wouldn’t hurt lads
compared to Pompey, We have money boys!!!! Derby no money, Sunderland no money. We will SH*T this league
I just hope our players don't go onto the pitch with the same level of over-confidence that you have. If they do, then we're sure to fall flat on our backsides! KRO
Why?? Why go half hearted in to something and cautious. If you want to win and be the best you have to think like that. Have to change our old mentality now as blues fans and be confident going forward. KRO
@@harryclarke8867 Totally agree. We should be confident and a little bit arrogant but don't overcook it. No need to rile the opponent unnecessarily - they will only raise their game more. Never said we should be cautious. Anybody watching a Gareth Boregate team should agree with that. KRO
Alfie May- 16 g a week is nothing we was paying ivan sinach 18 g a week last season and many others about the same. thats what brings players to clubs and his goal scoring record backs up his salary and why he chose to come to us rarther then any of the other teams who wanted his signature. 1million is great for 20 plus goals in any league.
Rudoni cost Coventry around £3.8m + add-ons. He always works hard, has a good first touch but he doesn't create many chances and his shooting is terrible. Definitely a work in project for Coventry.
Yh I know you got those figures off blues focus, but they have already been prooven to be absolute bull lol
No Leif Davis?
probably bias, but absolutely agree with Ivan on Alfie May, yes we probably overpaid but for a player that has already proven himself as the leagues top goal scorer we had to in order to stop other teams getting him, yes he is an aging player but were looking for short term atm in order to get us straight out of league 1
Excellent video and brilliant insight 👏
it was utter crap.
I think getting your info from Blues Focus has absolutely killed you there. Those figures have already been confirmed as being utter BS. Regards May its an absolute no brainer of a deal. When the transfer budget is close to 20mill 780k for May is not even a gamble!
Quality video. I really hope we can have a really good season. Last season I thought we could have got in the play offs but it turnt out to be a really frustrating one. This season is going to be even tougher. 8 signings so far but I still think we need more league one proven players & more quality. Let’s see what happens UTG
Cheers guys! There’s plenty of positives about your recruitment so far and the long-term future is obviously in mind. Like you’ve said, one or two more experienced additions and you’ll be fairly well set, albeit the league is potentially tougher than ever before!
What’s your opinion on burton albion this coming season ? Billionaire takeover 12 new signings decent proven records
Recruited well so far, keep your eyes peeled as there could be a video on that soon…👀
You should do the Hardest starts in the EFL next
Keep an eye out!👀
Plymouth have a tough start.
Yep, because Rooney is in charge…. Good luck.
