How to remove a stuck bathroom sink cartridge on a leaking Pfister faucet
This video will show how to replace a “stuck” Pfister bathroom sink cartridge to fix a leaking faucet.
REPAIR NOTE:
The part numbers and description callouts for the Pfister cartridges are the GS10-701 HOT/COLD and GS-710 COLD. While the GS10-701 is noted as “HOT/COLD,” it should only be used on the left or HOT side. If it is used on the right or COLD side your faucet, it will work, but the handles will have to be turned in the opposite directions from the conventional ON and OFF.
Pfister advised me that the new part numbers are 910-683 for the “HOT” (Left Side) and 910-825 for the “COLD” (Right Side). However, when you go to their website the part numbers are 910-6830 and 910-8250. It’s best to contact Pfsiter direct to determine which cartridges are required for your repair.
For more information on the cartridges, watch my other faucet repair video below.

Pleatco Swimming Pool Cartridge Filter review 2 year update
Переглядів 239Рік тому
This video will show how the Pleatco’s PJAN145 Cartridge Filter performed over the past 2 years. The original manufacturer’s cartridge filter, Jandy R0357900 is a very good cartridge filter and it performed well. After 4 years the filter had to be replaced due to normal wear a tear. The reason I decided to try an “aftermarket” or the Pleatco cartridge filter is due to the price of the Jandy car...

How to polish billiard balls with a DIY polisher. Do they actually work?
Переглядів 10 тис.2 роки тому
In this video we will see how well a “DIY” billiard ball polisher works on billiard balls that have not been cleaned for over 30 years. The pool table was purchased back in 1989 and didn’t get too much use. For the most part it was in storage. I finally had to move it and after some minor renovations it was ready to go, but the billiard balls were dirty and stained. I had seen videos on UA-cam ...

One day out of the blue our dishwasher (Whirlpool) door just would flop open with no resistance. I found this video and this seemed like the logical solution. Ordered the friction pad on Amazon. Once we got the dishwasher out, I became glad I bought only one, not two because that was not the problem. There is actually no friction pad on my model (purchased 2021). The spring had just become unhooked from the door and needed to be rehooked. While this video was great for showing how to get the dishwasher out, beyond that, I was on my own. Just know the friction pad might not be your issue. You may want to investigate before investing in the part and time waiting for it. Thanks for showing me how to get my dishwasher out though!

This is actually bad for the plastic ends of the filter to acid soak them. They loosen and expand... But also useful.. Must weight in the life of the filter.

Hi, I also have same shower model. Thanks for the video. First it took me a while to remove the screw on metal collar after trying vinegar and oil penetrant. That finally came off but now can’t remove the cartridge. vinegar, oil penetrant so far haven’t worked and in the process of pulling out cartridge, seems I have damaged it such that it now leaks drops constantly and previously it was leaking only when pulled out. 😢 Any suggestion for pulling out stuck cartridge. I am not sure how force is necessary or considered excessive as I don’t want to damage the copper pipe soldering inside incase I try too hard to pull out. any tips? thanks.

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and I found a rubber piece a few months ago on the floor. I threw that piece away. Today 5/7/23 I found the right side rubber piece on the floor. Now the door will not stay up. I always come to y.t. first and usually find a video on how to fix a problem. This video is what I needed to show me exactly how to put new friction pads on. I will order new pads and put them on. Thank you for the tutorial video.

I used mostly the same setup on balls at least 45 years old. Some were so discolored it was hard to tell which was which. Cut off 5 gal bucket, spray glue to put old table felt around the inside. We ditched the new balls cause the old ones shinned up like new, no yellowing or anything and shine is amazing. Overall time - around 20 minutes.
