@thevictorianedge5465 Thank you girl!! Yes it was very unexpected, just never a call you want to get!! Death is hard to process regardless. I feel like tho with her taking her own life and being so absolutely beautiful with a two year old daughter just made it incomprehensible. You just never truly know the way a person is feeling. It’s hard. I’m so glad this message helped you tho!! That makes me feel like I am doing something right by reading it to you beautiful ladies!! Men can be HARD to deal with sometimes that’s for sure. My husband forgot my birthday last year. It’s a terrible feeling 😮‍💨 I hope he tried to make up for it 🥴 I really encourage you to listen to the chapters from the beginning, this book has helped me see things in such a different light!😘

In another Chapter she explains this exactly as you have just wrote. A woman is a good thing. A crown to her man. They are both Gods beautiful creation, they were made in the image of God. I know this book is super controversial, and I get it. There are some take aways you don’t want to apply to your life (just like with anything really, besides the bible)and there are some take aways I have applied to mine, and it has changed mine and my husbands relationship. For the better. She gives some good perspectives that some women need to hear. -Coming from a woman, I know women that have a different outlook on their lives from this book. Feminism is a HUGE banter these days that lot of women believe "They don't need a man; There sons don't need a male figure in their life" (also not saying that a woman isn't capable of raising good men or doing it by herself; I know plenty)but that is just not Gods plan for men and women. Debi gives good outlooks on that and also how not so perfect relationships can be redeemed though Jesus Christ. I know personally, because her perception that she teaches on grace has helped me and the way I looked at things. A couple that was almost divorced and a family almost split up is now a God fearing, loving, sober, and compatible one.
