We see a lot here about Stolas and how it affects his behavior. 1) It was not a marriage for love. If neither of them love anyone and they only marry for one reason and have fulfilled that reason, I see no reason why Stolas wouldn't still try to find happiness. To me, that's not cheating. I would say that Stella doesn't see it that way either and is rather angry that it was an imp. 2) Up to the point where Blitz came back into his life, Stolas wasn't cheating on Stella. That's what I interpret from Stolas' behavior. Stolas' first thoughts were like from one of the romantic stories he reads or writes himself. The former boyfriend who comes to seduce him, but he's clearly moved on to a friendly chat. Until Blitz (!) actively tried to seduce him for the book and even then Stolas tried to avoid it until he joined in. Stolas will have noticed that Blitz ran off with his book, he's not stupid. Which brings me back to episode 1 season 1. Although he later clearly says himself that it was unfair of him, I don't believe for a second that Stolas wanted to hurt Blitz. He did what Blitz did to him “you get my book and we have a nice sexual time together”. Blitz did nothing else, he had sex with Stolas and took the book in return. Stolas didn't think for a second “you can't refuse anyway”, I'm pretty sure if Blitz had actively sought a conversation and said “sorry but that's not how I want it, please help me”, Stolas would have found other ways. 3) All the things that Stolas registers as a devaluation of Blitz. My personal opinion on this is that Stolas is really very inexperienced when it comes to romance, dating and stuff like that and Blitz is really very expressive in his pronunciation. We see him calling him a bitch and the like often enough and Stolas never says anything against it. So to me, impish plaything or Blitzy is not something to devalue Blitz, but is probably his way of flirting or dirty talk. I mean bitch or plaything is both “equally bad” in my opinion if you want to bitch about it. 4) Stella, even if she was forced into the marriage herself, is extremely abusive towards Stolas. No matter how frustrating it may be to have someone as a husband who doesn't love her and (due to the fact that he's gay) probably doesn't desire her, nothing, absolutely nothing justifies all the things she does in her short time alone on screen. She verbally abuses him, she embarrasses him at the party, she tries to hit him (and based on Stella's reaction when Stolas absorbs the blow, I maintain that she actually HAS already hit him) and, what creeps me out the most is her saying that Stolas stares at the wall during sex with her and that she has to do everything alone. For me, that's SA, nothing more. I like your reaction so far und continue to Episode12 :)
