what actually happens is that they knew there were gonna be all this porduction problems and people would hate it, so the fasted the pacing to make it till selene's arc. Season 1 should have finished with aldoron's pressumed death.
As much as I loved Lucy's fight, Im so dissatidlsfied with Grays........I mean it only took him to make a bigger ice unit and that's it......Hakune defeated....... Reminds me of gmg and him vs Rufus. It only took him to make more swords to defeat him. Utter bs in both fights. Im startin to think that Mashima hates Gray.
