I think it's good to say be brave but I understand where a lot of these young people are coming from today because a lot of them really do know that the odds are stacked against them compared to when people like myself ... I'm now almost 66 or people like Patty (who will be 80 on March 17th ) were younger , it did not cost a lot to live and it did not cost a lot to eat and it did not cost a lot to simply exist . Times really are different now and not a simple .

Wow she looks really great here for 79 and on March 17th she'll be 80 years old . Incredible . I read her autobiography years ago and really enjoyed it except that as an American sometimes I did not always know exactly what some of the venues were where they would have dinner or go clubbing and had to look them up .

Imagine how it must feel to have inspired those beautiful songs! I remember hearing Derek & The Dominos (Eric Clapton) playing “Layla” at The Black Prince in Bexley around 1970 and loving it. It has remained an all time favourite.

In 1969, I was so taken with Twiggy’s fabu eye makeup. I was only 10 years old and I bought a Yardley Of London watercolor eye shadow palette. I still have it in my art box. As I got older Patti inspired me to take up photography. Marvelously creative and strong women!

Shocking audio and camera work not as good as it should be! This interview is fabulous but totally spoiled because of it. Perhaps the producers aren't aware of just what an icon Pattie is! I feel for the interviewer, she must be more than a little disappointed!
