GREAT VIDEO, I BOUGHT JON BOAT, GOING TO MAKE THE DESIGN TO MY BOAT😎
Cool setup dude!
were is the outboard, fuel tank, fishing gear, safety gear, trailer???? and all the other shit that belong in the boat, yep great idea you have here
The best - Homemade Boat Loader using car winch! good Job!
Great loader set up. Can I ask you where you got the framing and the zippered cover set up from? That with the dingy set up is exactly what I'm looking for. Cheers
Hi made it all my self
How did you get it to go in reverse? Is the roller powered too?
no roller isn't power just pull the boat back until it balances on the roller and then use the winch in reverse.
Would you please send me pictures of the system and roof rack. I think this is great and would like to build one. This ol gal isn't as strong as I once was! Turningpointfarm.tk@gmail.com
This is just the design I was looking for. Best simple way to do this. Where did you attach the wench?
Attached a remote winch on the front section of the roof rack.
Going to just trying to figure out where it will work without being in the way. Was looking up rollers with the brackets and found 2 17" rubber ones on Amazon. I have a center pulley wheel. Need to buy 1/2" braided rope to put on the wench I have
Hi ,to get the boat off the rack onto the ground do you loosen the winch and push the boat towards back of the ute ,the stern ropes stop it coming off the back then start to unwind the winch mate ?@@sergemizzi1782
Great job mate. I was thinking the same design and was so glad to see you make what I was thinking. You really helped me with the finer details and saved me $3500
Couln't watch it all very crappy music, better to leave it out. Mate
That's fricken awesome, I was wondering how people got their boats on the roof 🤔
Please no shitty music
Very nice, now add a bracket at rear so you don't have to back and move the boat in place ,also some in front to lock it down.
Nice and easy,Good job.
I still do not understand how you are backing it off...when we try to visualize all we see is our cable from the winch unspool but not move boat. Please help!
Hi all I do is pull the boat back until it balances on the rollers and then reverse the winch
Thank you so much! Can you think of a way that a person could use the winch to reverse it off? We can’t sleep trying to figure it out lol I was thinking maybe a second chain or rod for stabilizing it.
@@justme6820 easy use a reverse pulley, with an S hook wind in the winch to pull the boat off the rear of the Ute, once the S hook catches at the balance point it will release the reversing of the boat. Then once caught change direction on winch to forward and boat direction will continue off the back of the Ute ( truck, pickup, jeep) depending on what country your from.
Seriously dude. Your soundtrack? Do you live in a fucking gay discotheque or something?
So jealous of those great pick up trucks you Australians can get. Wish we as Americans had the freedom to own them too.
How does one secure it?
Ratchet straps
@@sergemizzi1782 is there anything else on the market that will lock it into place?
You could maybe drill through the gunal rail and bolt to your roof rack with some bolts and butterfly nuts
@@sergemizzi1782 or I was thinking of using the tow hitch locking pins and welding one end in and then you can also lock the tinny to the roof rack and will be secure enough to travel with.
That's fricken awesome, I was wondering how people got their boats on the roof 🤔
Love that boat!
THANK YOU AS GREAT IDEAL WAY CARRY BOAT ON TOP
Tow a caravan at the same time
Great idea and execution. The two stern rope hooks are so much more convenient than a large bulky device to haul around.
FFS everyone . The boat motor goes in the back of the Ute !
I love the ideas, but what about the motor?
How do you attach it for transport?
i invented that in my head, a couple of years ago. lol. seriously.
😁
Nice one mate!
I love the simplicity of this set up beats paying big dollars for a top loader ill be doing this thats for sure
simplicity ?!?
Amazing!! I want one
You need to get a remote ..😀
probably a dumb question, but wheres the engine go?
If you mean winch motor it uses the car winch on the front bullbar
@@sergemizzi1782 Nah, dumb er question, the boat motor
Sorry mate wasn't sure what engine, the boat motor goes on a frame in the back of the ute tray
Hi mate. Awesome work. Just wondering about the side handrail on the boat, was that a custom add on or an extra with the boat? Cheers
Custom add on
Pretty slick mate
nice job
Hi Serge love the concept do you have more info or diagram for front winch attachment
Serge......gotta question....did u build or have that truck bed built......I'm looking to do something like this with my truck
Awesome!
Hey Serge, thanks for the ideas, I made a loader here in North Vancouver, BC, Canada ua-cam.com/video/WHoYwh6aaKo/v-deo.html
what is on you boat floor?
nightfevernight ply wood with carpet
Do you have a video of your tray layout and who was it made by?
Mitch Gunning no sorry a mate of mine built it
Too east then, Whats the fill point on the right rear toolbox for?
Mitch Gunning main fuel tank
that is awesome. love that truck! the boat looks like a solid fishing machine.
Hey mate thanks for sharing this , I have finished a similar system thanks to you . Makes loading my tinnie by my self achievable. Thanks again .
Ric Wenske no probs mate glad it was helpful
Hi mate, awesome boat loader, I was wondering if you have any diagrams or pictures of the front mount that you but on the bull bar? Thanks mate
bssniper1975 no sorry mate
Awesome ute tray, where did you get that fabricated?
Nice truck
How do yo take the boat off the roof ?
Hi mate all I do is pull the winch rope out until I see the mark I have put on the rope and then pull the boat from the back until it pivots on the back rack and then just reverse the winch until its back on the ground. Cheers
Thanks, I had made my own side loader to go on our cruiser but we are getting rid of it and buying a Silverado that already has an alloy rack and I have a 400kg electric winch I will transfer from my old system.
I used to have a aluminium roof rack with my old tinny and converted that to a boat loader, I installed a remote winch on it and all the rope tie points and that used to work great but ended up selling the tinny and the roof rack with it, that's when I came up with the idea of using the bull bar winch.
like the idea - is it available to buy ? if so where pleaseIf not is it possible to view the instructions
+CATHY SUMMERELL sorry Cathy this is a custom home made product no instructions
Hi Serge, great product. Can you please give me more info on the roof rack especially the back part with the rollers on, did you modify it or can I buy that somewhere, Thanks Seege. Allen. allen@regalcoffeeclub.com.au
+Allen Walters The roof rack came with the tinny when purchased it but I installed the remote winch and the center rollers the rear rollers where on the rack but you can buy tradesmen racks with the rear rollers on them and just mount your winch under hope this info helps
Do you have any instructions on how to make one?
+Mark Jensen sorry have no instructions
@@sergemizzi1782 can you make instructions??
that's the coolest thing. Good job!
