hi people, i am from Türkiye, and I love the episodes of Blackadder so much that I have been watching them over and over again for years at night before I go to sleep. It is my bedtime and laughter reading. I watch the entire episodes and then start again from the beginning. It is such a shame that no more was filmed. My opinion of the series: I think that these days, expressions and scripts like that would no longer be appropriate for television. But the good thing is that each of us knows someone in our environment who fits the characters and that is what makes it so funny in the end.

Still my favorite comedy of all time! I love Time Team but I snicker everytime Tony Robinson starts his narration, Baldric!

Pity they left out the whole actors sequence from the 3rd series, with the mention of Macbeth. It would've been nice to finally find out what they're actually saying when they exorcise those demons, & why those words specifically were picked...

I lived from birth to six years old at my Nan & Grandad's cottage, (with my Mum, and Nanny and Grandad)... That cottage had an outside loo, in the back yard enroute to Grandad's back garden, but I dont recall having an underbed 'p' bucket ...though .. there may've been a "china po" - (chamber pot). From six, I moved with my Mum into the man who became my stepdad*...and from six to roughly eleven, I did have an underbed 'p' bucket - it was dark green! He* just gad an outdoor loo in the garden outside the kitchen (it was less unsavoury than it sounds!!) When I was around eleven, I recall spending a weekend with my Grandad (my Nan had died when I was seven) and when I came home, I had been moved from my bedroom at the top of the stairs to further along the top landing (just three stairs above) and my room had been converted into a bathroom with washbasin in fron of the window, a loo in the far left corner, and a big white bath on the outide wall opposite... So, according to Frank, here, I was born/ raised "working class" and _not_ "posh"!! Thanks Frank. Now I know _who_ _and_ _what_ I am...and exactly _why_ !!
