Stop number three this year for the Kankakee river tournament circuit. Found the numbers but not the big ones. luckily it was a tough day for most and stayed in the top half. #fishing #smallmouth #largemouth #basstournament

Good. Maybe you will slow down when you cant see through the glare. I kayak and understand so i am usually to the side but if i were trying to cross that channel i would have been in danger. Slow down a bit if you cant see. Please.

Spinnerbaits and square bills are good at this time of year. I always keep some type of creature/jig on for pitching and flipping structure.

That is the grand Kankakee Marsh park's public launch. It's a fine boat launch but watch your speed in that river, The current is strong, unforgiving and there are fallen tree below the surface.
