I was looking at it. They make hand wand detectors same technology some are waterproof. Was thinking of trying one zip tie to the claw. Some have a display that shows detection. Was going to give that a try. 👍

As being pretty ingenious and problem solver myself. I’d 3d print a scoop off the shaft to sift the silt away and keep whatever you detect. Also it would you to retrieve it.

Hey Bud, Nice chatting with you today. That is not one of our boats...... That shore line has been used by the public for 60+ years that I know of so there is probably a lot of cool stuff under the silt. Bang on the door if you ever want to check out the other side when things are quiet!

You should try with nokta pulse dive 8inch coil. It is much better underwater detector and cover more, also it is a lot deeper than that chinese pi detector

There's so much garbage in these oceans and lakes and waterways I'm surprised humans are still in existence. We just pollute everything can imagine a shit in the rivers and the oceans, and that's why all these fish and shit are dying, I am surprised fish are still around, it's absolutely disgusting

Improvement the green/red led should be up at the stick so you can run the plate in the mud. Your range is possible more restricted in water.

25:28 I guess its because saltwater is a conducter and detectors with a single frequency dont like salt water at all, you would need a detector shooting multifrequencies + having some software filters to get rid of the false signals , for example my XP Deus 2 is fully capable of searching in salt water but its fairly pricy and i dont even know if there is a small detector that can deal with saltwater or high mineral sand that could be attached to the Evo :P

Seeing as how the detector is really underpowered. I wonder if you could just cut up a good detector, and then print a new mount that fits the drone and run extra power with the tether cable. I also thought about just printing a scoop that sits 3 inches under the detector head. Basically a cat litter scooper. You could even fit a mini vacuum/blower to move the silt around.

And I wanted to say "thank you" for that! It's exactly 02:00 in the morning over here, I'm in my bed sleepless, looking trough countless Facebook groups about lost/found dead or alive groups as I'm missing my beloved cat since nearly 2 month now. I realized I might never see him again, put my phone away and focused to watch your video to find some sleep. Well, as I was watching and sucking up the atmosphere of this peaceful dive ,paired with that well picked music , my thoughts where drifting away further and further and brought back so much memories of my beloved cat.... You know, the past days I kinda tried to "forget" about him as I tried to cope with the situation... But it made me feel bad as it gives me the feeling of not caring. People tell me "it's just a cat dude" ... for many people it might be just that, for me , he was my best friend , I raised him by force feeding him with milk until he got strong enough to survive on his own... I can't believe he's just gone now, it breaks my heart... Your video just helped me to "see him again" , for some minutes he was back here, where he used to be when I was watching UA-cam in bed 🤷😓 I know it sounds super cringe but I just wanted to thank you for your work, this video atleast touched and helped one person!
