Hi, the max 6 g2 and 4990 1650 motor is 8s rated, hobbywing also make another max 6 v3 and a 4985 1650 combo too and that combo isint 8s rated which is the older setup

@@taftarat i did say in my video I'm sure, it's 20/50 gearing and a scorched RC motor mount is what I'm using

Ooooo thats a good question, i have never tried, i can run a whole set of 10000mah packs doing back to back speed runs without it getting hot, so reckon you probably could but i def would want to keep an eye on temps to begin with

There is 2 different max 6 esc was yours Def the G2 and not the V3?

@@marksangster2979 sadly it was the G2 cause of the Bluetooth

@@t-dawgl8338 you may just have got a faulty item, i have ran many times in the cold and its been just fine for me, who knows

I used a scorched Rc mount, it has held up really well so far, the motor is about 5mm longer than the original so the stock mounts won't work for this combo 🙂

This esc is the same ampage as the max 5

I have the same combo. Hate to say it but yes it's too high for the Max6 to run
