Met you the morning of the race in T1 (bike pump). I PR’d my 70.3 bike (any course) in Chatty this year. Nice race report.

Just did the 70.3 this weekend. The run was very slow but finished 6h35. Idk why Chattanooga is so popular. The running course is hard. Plus it gets hot even tho I finished by 2pm. Are people so fond of bucket list races and totally ok with finishing dangerously close to race cut off times (8h30m for half and 17h for full) ?

What camera setup did you use to make the video look soooo smooth ? I was looking at the video of Waco 2023 bike (that another youtuber put up) and it almost made me throw up because his camera bounces so much. Also thanks for the video! Really helped me and my team conquer the bike course and the Andrews climb this past Sunday! 😊

Hey Joe, thanks for the swim brief, much appreciated. All things considered not equal 😂 how did your swim here compare to other more traditional 70.3 swims. accepting it is longer, but downhill, how did your average pace per 100 meters or 100 yards compare?. much appreciated. Flying all the way across the pond from the Isle of Man for this years event.

No wig. You may want to dab your nose with vaseline to prevent nose bleeds, I can't tell you how many racers I saw with bloody noses in the Tour of Colorado.

I spent the first 47 years of my life in Colorado and as you saw in Chatty last month I’m a horrible swimmer… boulder reservoir is a great place to swim and they have a practice session Wednesday night if you get in town early enough. Have a great race!

You got this Joe.. The swim will be the toughest leg because of the altitude. I went from sea level to 2500ft at St George, and that swim killed me. Good luck.

Way to pull off the win in your AG! My bike went the same way as you described. I came through 28 miles and I’m like wow I can break 2:30. We made that turn and I was like oh man there’s a headwind. The last hour was tough. 22.2MPH the first 28 miles and 19.6MPH the last 28.
