WE were told we could not have tile after we put stain on all the floors. Can we tile with a crack and water barrier, say, like Durock or some other barrier?

I am finding a lot of advice online about the polishing process for concrete floors (your videos are great!) but unless I can order the right mix of concrete I may ruin my project from the start. I want to have a creme-finished concrete slab with a matte reflectivity for a new residential project, but I can't figure out how to articulate to the ready-mix company what my concrete mix should be? Any suggestions?

How many bags did you use of the Ardex CD for that job ?
I believe we used 6 bags on this approximately 500 Sq Ft driveway.
is the drywall finished before you seal it? I thought the mud would stain polished concrete
The mud will stain the floor. If you polish the concrete before drywall, the floor should be covered with Ram Board during tape, bed, texture, paint, and trim. If you polish after drywall the mechanical abrasion from the concrete grinder will remove any contaminate from the drywall install. The concrete polishing process is more difficult after drywall is installed, so expect to pay more if you choose to polish your floors at this point in the process. Even still, it should be covered during paint and trim.
