So I think cruising through trails is decrease chances of injury but if you want to go fast and push it than wear more personal protection than just a helmet. Gloves, shoulder, elbow, and knee pads, and full face helmet like the pros that is under their clothing. ligaments and tendon tears takes months to heal like shoulder and wrist. Lower tire pressure for more traction and adjust fork psi for stability in turns and jumps if needed.

Smiling! Done that in the 70's and 80's all canoes, was surprised to see the yellow raft, guess it's changed a lot over the years, still live in the area but haven't been on the river in 30 years. Last trip was low water and did more pulling the canoes than floating in them, might be why I never did it again. Big Smile! Have had my Jeep Wrangler in and out and crossed it a few times. Everyone has their preference on what's the most beautiful section of the Buffalo. They are all nice, but we prefer those that are off the main highways, you know, the sections where you can actually see the water and it's not bumper boats lol. The entire river is the most beautiful overall that we have in the state. Highly recommend going in early Spring or Fall to avoid the casuals/drunks. For those that fish for smallmouth while floating, the further you go downstream the fishing gets better. Can you catch smallies the entire river? Yes.
