I'm waiting to find out and really curious to see how it'll do in hot weather. We drove the G45 in 12 to 18 deg C conditions. Honestly the airflow from those dashboard vents isn't great at all

The starlight LEDs are spellbinding! I had a chance to look behind (above?) the headliner once and man, the forest of fibre optic cables in there is just crazy!

The G01 certainly was a handsome car, no doubt about that!

the x3 is designed for mainland chinese market. thats why it looks horrible now. interior caters to customer who wants their car to look like Asus ROG laptop.

@@TMS5100 oh man, you're absolutely right! I went and looked up the chart that BMW showed me at the G45 launch; I read it wrong - the US is expected to buy 41% of the *new* one. @@MrChiaSG they abandoned the opening sunroof, no more tacora red interior option, no more rear ambient lighting. this is not an upgrade. i think the 2024 models are going to be come real popular very soon!

That’s a real tough question! I haven’t driven the E 450 (we don’t have that in Singapore) but I’ve tried the same engine in the CLS and it’s a gem. Sounds great, pulls hard… I love it! But an X3 and E-Class comparison is really apples-to-oranges. Do you have a lot of stuff to carry (like mountain bikes)? How about kids to drive around? How much do you value a more traditionally posh interior, like the E 450’s? I think it’ll come down to whether you need the extra space of an SUV. If you don’t, it’ll come down to what you think of the BMW’s minimalist interior versus the Mercedes’ more traditional cabin

For me all comes down to : sitting position (higher..) ,ground clerance , b58 vs 6cyl.in merc ,quality of materials inside the cabin or easy of use multimedia… Anyway based on your experience (you drive a lot of cars..) what would you choose for yourself and why (between these two)?

@@sasquatch7962 well ok, gun to my head... I would say between a GLC and X3, I would probably go BMW. But between an E 450 and the X3 M50, I think I'd prefer the Mercedes. I'm a sedan guy, plus I have my doubts about the X3's interior. Mercedes MBUX is, overall, easier to use than BMW OS9, I'd say. But you might prefer the elevated seating position/higher H-point of the X3, so at least give it a test drive!

It's still a relatively small brand, even though Geely is huge. Zeekr produced roughly 10,000 cars a month on average last year, and about 15,000 a month so far this year

Great qn! The next one in line is the 009. Zeekr does intend to have a wide product line-up for SG so it seems likely that the 7X will also come. Once you see RHD production, the chances are gonna be high!

@@MrChiaSG Thanks! I'll look into the 009. I feel that for the price of the Zeekr X, the Xpeng G6 is a better option. Price is similar, it's longer, more interior space, larger trunk. The 7X does seem to be the best choice, all the brilliant features packed into the car.

I think that's fair, and good feedback for Audi. It's looking more and more like the first e-tron was really a stopgap EV for the brand. I have to say, the e-tron GT is pretty dope, and the latest cars are on a bespoke EV platform, so their range and space packaging are way better.

It's a 5 year warranty. Not sure if they offer free servicing but Skodas generally need servicing once a year

@@MrChiaSG Omg. And I thought cars were expensive in South Africa. The new E200 starts at the equivalent of USD 67,000 here or 87,000 Singapore dollar. That's crazy. But I'm assuming salaries are in line with the cost of living there. At least I hope. It definitely isn't in most parts of the world anymore. Everything has become too expensive.
