    • @jonyto5

      @@DIYwithDeon It seems that my hole is not perfectly parallel to the surface of the wood or something... when i try with a vice i cannot get the bolt to go through both of the nuts, it goes through the first and then pushes the other out of the wood as it cannot enter it straight.

    • @jonyto5
      @jonyto5 12 днів тому

      Anyway my idea is that if there are 2 nuts on both sides it makes the bolt that goes through them to have less slack

    • @DIYwithDeon
      @DIYwithDeon 11 днів тому

      Putting 2 of them opposite of each other does not really help. Because while the one is pulling, the other one is pushing. so only put one on the opposite side side of the wood from where you put the bolt in.

    I also prepared everything, but I did not get any results. Because the rivet nut of all the washers and the support nut was rotating and it was not fixed and riveted in the hole, and no matter what I did, I did not succeed.

    Hi Deon, what symptoms do you pick on the 1KD when the filter is cracked or clogged? What problem does bypassing it alleviate?

    • @DIYwithDeon
      @DIYwithDeon 20 днів тому

      It loses power because it does not read the intake pressure. When you bypass the broken filter, the MAP sensor can read the pressure again. 👍

    The filter has a purpose. You can use this tip just to figure out if the filter is clogged or leaking. Replace the filter and that's the proper way to do it. It's not wise to delete the filter from the system.

    Can you explain how you came up with the distances from the center to the small cutouts.

    • @DIYwithDeon
      @DIYwithDeon 26 днів тому

      Hi, it is a matter of preference of how big you want the cut outs to be. Two things that I kept in mind while determining the sizes were, 1)Not to make the distance between the cut outs too small. 2)Not to make the cut outs to deep into the centre circle so that I could not fit a knob in the middle to hold the piece of wood in place. I hope this helps, thanks for your support! 👌🏻

    The first method worked great with M5's and aluminum rivnuts. Thank you!

      They probably can be, but mine are still working fine. I have replaced the lugs with copper lugs when I changed the cables, but the bolts and copper bar are still good. 👌🏻
