Freedom on Two Wheels: Vstar USA Adventure
In the summer of 2022 I embarked on an epic motorcycle adventure across the United States on my 22-year-old Yamaha Vstar 1100. I bought the bike off of Facebook marketplace and did not have the skills to ride it home (only 9 miles away). After a little bit of practice and a few rides down to the beach, off I went.
From the bustling streets of New York to the breathtaking landscapes of the West Coast, I rode through 32 states, encountering everything from scorching heat to pouring rain.
The original plan was to go from NY to Key West, FL. I ended up riding through NY, NJ, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, back up to NC, TN, AR, OK, TX, NM, AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, CO, back through WY to SD, MN, IA, MO, KS (just over the border to eat), IL, IN, OH, PA, then NJ and back to NY. 32 different states, 346 gallons of gas in 137 different gas stations, 2 oil changes, one graduate online class, and 0 tickets. I rode early, late, alone, with groups, through rain, 104 degree heat, at sea level, at 11,700ft. I rode on interstates, single lane roads, and a few gravel roads. I saw all sorts of animals and maybe even a squatch after I drove through that tree. I ate good food, bad food, and everything in-between. I met dozens of strangers and visited family. I tried new things and saw new places. I learned a ton.
This video documents my journey: the incredible sights, the unexpected challenges, the amazing people I met along the way, and the unforgettable sense of freedom that comes with exploring the open road.

Drone Fail- GoPro Crash

I made my own quadcopter. There was a loose connection and I tried taking it up (way less than 400ft) when it was a little windy. I maintained control and was able to crash land in my backyard. Close call!

Thanks for sharing your travels on the v-star. I have been searching UA-cam to see if there is anyone who has traveled very long distances on the v-star and you are the only person with such extensive footage. Your video is very motivating.
This poor guy is tired,, I saw alot of the buffet chefs in the tepanyaki, These people on this ship work very long hours. They like when we get roudy.. It helps them.

Was there an onion volcano? Was there a heart shaped mountain of rice? No smiley faced circle of rice?
On the Norwegian epic tappanaki cook was so entertaining with signing, jokes, talking to each of us, performing stunts with the utensils. He was fantastic . This guy put the the guests asleep! It gets real loud in the restaurant with all the servers and people signing too.this show was not very lively or entertaining. Sorry for the negativity.

I experienced this on the Norwegian epic and it was phenomenal! This video does not show all the music, singing, and joking going on. I had the greatest time on the epic!
