Nissan Murano 2002 to 2015 Starter Motor problems and replacement (complete how to guide 🦮)
Many thanks for your time & thorough advice. Spent about £155 in total to fix the juddering which occured on set off, it's a 2004 Jazz, 81,391 miles. The car's service history showed that the CVTF had never been changed. If only the previous car owner had done so. First changed the CVTF + washer purchased directly from Honda at £80.17 for a 4L as that's what they had. But only needed 3.2L. Already noticed changes by the time I drove it home from garage after the change of CVTF & car been test driven by the mechanic. Then applied the EX120 after 24 hours the following day as had ordered it from Amazon (£24.35). It now drives so smooth like new & the juddering is completely gone. The mechanic wanted me to get non Honda CVTF but I insisted & he said going forward, he would recommend this solution to his clients. Thank you so much.
No problem. I'm glad my video helped
Did ok not perfect but it's good try first time, not only that even in time it won't matter as much. 10 out of 10 .
Thank you for your feedback
thanks ,very helpful.
Glad to help. Are you doing this job yourself?
@@asama1984 yes ill try cause it cost alot of money when take it to the mechanic
Bumper and fender are being replaced soon and i will be doing the door myself its a big job though do you have videos on fixing the lower bottom portion of the door? SPECIFICALLY getting any raised lines fixed?
I don't have other videos sorry. Good luck. Please share your progress.
Great job now I can change my spark plug thank u
Thanks for watching. Good luck with the job
Please help me
Someone please help. Is there anyone out there?

Someone one please help. Is there anyone out there?
I think you did a great job! True, you're no Scottie, but the world isn't ready for another Scottie. Haha, again, great job. I'm going to try this on an old F150 that's been hit twice in the same area and it was parked!
Thanks for your support. Good luck with your repair.
Dont use a torque wrench for loosing ANYTHING, you'll mess up the calibration
Why would it?
Thank you so much for your well explained video! I changed transmission oil with your helpful instructions in my gd1 2008 and also applied xado ex120 now my gearbox is working like fresh came from factory without any shudders anymore :))
Good to hear. How long have you had your car my friend?

No problem my friend
Evening Asama!! I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos as I posses the same vehicle therefore is very informative & helpful. I couldn't help but notice the kiwi accent! As an aspiring mechanic, you as a mentor would be fantastic.

@@rosiejo2045 Napier is a nice city. Good to hear it fixed the transmission. How many kms on your car?
Hey where is the pcv valve ?
It should be towards the back of the engine. Are you changing the PCV valve?
Clickbait title? What new guidelines?
I don't do clickbait. This came straight from Nissan.
If it has a CVT transmission, the Carwizard says to change the fluid every thirty thousand miles. If not the transmission will fail you.
I don't like the Car wizard. I'm more of a Scotty Kilmer fan myself.
Thanks Asama. After watching your video I now need to go and get a new Nissan alternator for my Subaru. Thanks.
Yes but make sure you also get the hammer and the lighter.
It's the smallest things in the world that matters.!
Yes and lucky it was something small. I was also quoted $750 on a new alternator without labor. I was not keen on spending that much.
Thank you for the video. So the problem was the corroded nut on the positive terminal of the alternator?
Yes exactly. It was lucky I did the testing because you couldn't tell just by looking at it
Thanks. Very informative and cool. Please consider sharing how to retention the belt as that might keep most newbies from doing this themselves.
Good idea. I should probably do another video about taking it off and on.
I give you a F not a good jobs good junk but F is not bad in my shop I give you a job cleaning toilet 😂
Hi mate, i have an 08 auto jazz vtis with about 150k km. i did a cvt change about 5 years ago, and the shuddering has been on going for about 4 years. it shudders on acceleration till about 10km/h then goes away and car drives fine. Just curious if flush and xano would help remedy the problem, especially since its been on going for years. Couldn't find any comments specific to this. cheers
Yes it should help. I put up with the problem for a few years before I found out about this product
@@asama1984 Thanks for the reply! good to know that there is a chance it will work. will proceed with a flush and xano soon. and great video, everything is well explained.
Ok, today i did a gear box oil change with fresh honda cvtf and put the xado ex120. Happy to report, my gear box no longer shudders. Totally mind blown after years of enduring this cvt issue. Car now takes off smoothly as if it never happened. Can do an update after a couple months.
@@PTworks It's a great product and yes surprising how well it works. With me the shudder started coming back after 3 years. But I added more of the product and it went away again.

That generation Honda Fit didn't have a CVT transmission here in the states. My 2008 for instance, has an automatic transmission.
They made them in standard automatic, CVT and stick shift
my Nissan versa 2011 at 122k miles 6 speed. shakes after 2000 rpm....... wtfffff changed coils, gasket, spark plugs hell got new fucking tires!!!!! what the helllll
How fast are you going?
And is your check engine light on?
I am going speed limit but the issue ive noticed is the rpm as I am going through the gears. No it's not on! my low tire pressure is on but my mechanic told me since I don't have the sensors it'll stay like that and told me it wasn't that big of a deal@@asama1984
Hey mate is it necessary to change and refill the transmission fluid? Can I put the revitalizant into the transmission without emptying the transmission fluid?
No you don't have to change the fluid. How many miles have you got on your car?
@@asama1984 I've got 194,000 kms. Should i just top up the transmission fluid and then put the revitalizant inside of it? or just straight away put the revitalizant without topping it up?
@@hammad7431 it's important to have your transmission filled up to the correct level. Otherwise you will damage your transmission
You could have also used a fuse in transmission connector the 2 biggest terminals instead of using the whole trans selector.
How would a fuse replace the trans selector?
Do you mean a fuse or relay?
I have they sending replacement hope I have better luck ?
Good luck. Let me know how you get on.
No problem connecting ran for a day then stopped
A lot of these cheap units can be faulty. I would recommend getting in touch with the supplier and see if they can replace it.
I've got the self same tracker as you've just fitted Hey hope you can help me yes I took the tracker back out of the car and I noticed that the blue light was on the green light was flashing and the red light was flashing

yeah because no thief will look at the battery FIRST. this is almost as dumb as odb trackers

@@asama1984 he will see wires connected to battery.. or am i missing something. why not hide the device somewhere in the dash

I’ve done it!! Thank you very much sir! Only thing how do I get the reverse lights to work?? I see the switch in the trans but no idea for the harness wires? How did you do it?
Well done my friend. I cover this in part 5. Start watching at 2 minutes

@@Corolla_Beau good to hear this helped
Another problem my friend! 😂 my speedometer is not working, perhaps I missed a electrical connection, or is there another wire I must cut and connect? I don’t believe there was anymore plugs I missed not the manual box but I do have the 7afe harness with some open connectors.
Also I did change the axle to the donor car axle and I believe it also did not have the teeth for abs like you stated in the video, my car does not have abs as is 1994 but perhaps I need the teeth specifically for just the speed sensor recognition? Only thing that could come to mind being it worked before the manual swap.
Just randomly came over this video looking for solutions. Didn't even think this could be it. Thanks mate, you really helped me out 🙂👍
Good to hear it's helped my friend 👍
Is the subframe different between automatic vs manual transmission or 7afe vs 4afe?
No it's exactly the same. The transmission mounts should be exactly the same.
@Corolla_Beau are you buying a donor car or just buying the parts?
@@asama1984 I bought a donor car. Same corolla ae100 but 1996 4afe mine is 1994 7afe
@@Corolla_Beau they should have the same mounting points. Have a look at all the engine and transmission mounts and make sure they're in the same place.

You will get answer for everything except the last question 😂😂
Thankyou great video, well done
Thank you my friend. Do you have the same problem?
Does anyone know where the filter is in this transmission? I found only recommendations for HONDA CVTF oil, what other analogues can be used on the Jazz 2005 IDSI CVT
I believe its inside the transmission pan.
Here in AZ I could go to the u pull yard and buy the entire door for less than a $100 and swap it on to the car in less than 2hrs. Sorry this repair will not hold up. Spreading mud over a huge hole through the sheet metal is not gonna cut it dude.
Seems like you don't know much about body repair because the repair is still good after 5 years.
Can this be used without a transmission flush or if the car does not have a cvt transmission?
You can just add it by itself.
Nice one how can o ne know that one coil is not functioning properly
Is the engine running or are you having problems?
