His singing manner is like… like a friendly hand running through your hair, so smooth, so soothing and comforting! Can't praise enough. A bittersweet feeling each time, knowing the meaning of the lyrics.

so amazing. I had heard this song a few times but never paid much mind to it. I do not speak Gaelic so I just appreciated it for the melody. I just heard this song a month ago and I began to cry at the end of the song where he sings, " Ach an rud tha mi 'g ràdh, gu bràth gun aidich mi fhìn, 'N taobh tuath Loch a' Chàrnain dh'àraicheadh cailin mo chridh'. " I decided I had to look up the song and the lyrics. I've been listening to this song ang a lot of other Irish and Scottish music with gaelic lyrics. Now I am doing online courses for gaelic. If anyone knows some good Gaelic music or poetry (or movies) I would love some help and would really appreciate it.

Ireland has not got a large army or weapons of mass destruction, Ireland and its people have never invaded any other country and declared war on its people and has never steel and plundered from others, but Ireland is sinking with that vast number of most brilliant musicians, singers, singers' writers players poets' storytellers.

Arthur Cormack. He is such an effortless singer and is a joy to listen to no matter what he sings. I'd the pleasure of singing with him when Lasair Dhe was recorded in both Glasgow and Edinburgh and hearing him in the Mod in Skye back in 1997 or 8. Absolutely superb singer and a pleasure to work with no ego just a humble down to earth lovely man.
