From Canada as well. What airline did you fly? Most airlines if not all, on paper say that the carrier is about two inches smaller in the length of the carrier. The Sherpa carrier, flattens several inches at the top so it can fit under the seat. The medium Sherpa meets the exact size requirements posted by Westjet, yet I do see people who bring on larger dogs than ours. Our dog would be more comfortable in the large size Sherpa which is 19 inches like yours, but not sure how strict they are if the carrier is soft sided and meets all of the things they ask for. Our dog is currently about 11 lbs and will only be about 15 lbs in total when fully grown which meets the weight requirement. I can bring her in the medium size but not sure if they care if it is medium or large as long as it is a carrier that is deemed "airline approved". Have you flown in the past year with your dog? If so . what airline and what was your experience?

What works with my cavapoo is I spoon feed her hahaha not ideal but her pickiness or whatever is very annoying

I just got my little Cavapoo (Teddy) and he is the best little guy ever!! He follows me everywhere.....even to the toilet!! When I take Teddy for a walk, the whole neighborhood says hi to Teddy and me!! As a retired guy, kids out of the house, etc, he is GREAT for me!!

A lot of breeds have separation anxiety. Crate training is not only good for your dog when you’re not home but also if you are busy in the house. Up until they are about two I would not let your dog run around alone unless you can give full attention. The reason for this is they could cause harm to themselves. When you do go out your dog will feel more secure in a den like environment (the crate)

I have a cavapoo myself and I comb and brush him with a slicker brush usually every day but his hair looks poofy and not really silky ig you could say. When he was a puppy he has silky wavy hair all over his body but now just his ears are like. Is there something I’m doing wrong or something I could do to make all his body that way?

I have never had a dog and I always wanted one, especially a Cavapoo. I am doing all of my research cause I want to give a good life to who I adopt. I work only twice a week from the office. How best I can train the puppy from separation anxiety? I’d only be gone for like 10/12hrs cause of long commute 😢ofc I’d get a dog walker in the middle of the day, but would love to know everything I can do to reduce separation anxiety.

The Cavalier King Charles is a fabulous breed in it's own right. Why would anyone mix an elegant, glorious breed with an ordinary, overbred dog? That's like adding soda water to your glass of Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1970!

I have been trying to figure all this out for about a year. I am so glad to find this video. I have a 3 year old shitsu - weighs about 15 lbs. I will start looking for the proper carrier now that I know that the dogs can go under the seat and be comfortable .. this video really helped me with my first time dog travel. xo
