    Is recharge rate fixed or is it dependent on the draw down? I would think that with greater draw down youd have a steeper gradient in the cone which would lead to faster recharge. With a small draw the pressure difference isnt that great and it wouldnt draw as much water in.

    I would really appreciate an answer to this question: how can pressure head just be the distance of the water above the point? Would the volume of water pressing down on that point not also affect pressure? And the horizontal distance from one side of the container to the next? I am just super confused about the concept of water pressure, and would appreciate any resources you could direct me to.
