Hey dude, yeah i think with you playing on pc it's easy to encounter a decent console player and come to the conclusion it's reasonably balanced but if you actually played on a console in a pc lobby you will quickly realise how much of a disadvantage it is. Especially if the pc players are good and coordinated. We can't even bind our controls, to throw things in a particular direction we have 3 button inputs! You can tap a key of your choice, you play at more than double our frame rates with half the input lag.. the list goes on.. Trust me it's a different experience! But with that being said we console players are capable of holding our own if we've had the patience to learn how to offset some of the unbalance. I think since I posted this video and the Soter Dave tragedy, Torn Banner did implement some anti cheat and ban a host of accounts so hopefully things are much better now. I haven't played for a few months personally, I needed a break from the game! Have a great day bro!

@@__________________117 Because some of the players on pc are cheating. Facts. There's countless cheat scripts at little to no cost on pc for Chivalry 2 and there's definitely a culture of folk who abuse this even when facing us console players. It's pathetic beyond reason. They can seemingly block attacks from behind at times and move in ways that make no sense, even without cheats keyboard and mouse control with more than double our frame rates will do a lot for you. It's no measure of skill if they beat us really, they should beat us with the sheer advantages they have on their platform. But with all that being said if you're competent enough at the game you can give anyone a challenge and not make it easy for them. I consider myself in this bracket, they may have countless advantages over us but if they're not well trained I'll take their heads even on console using inferior controls. At the end of the day it's just not a balanced game, we shouldn't be put in lobbies with pc players under any circumstances. There's a reason competitive gaming doesn't pit pc vs console, it's just not even remotely fair but Torn Banner being pc developers have zero f*cks to give regarding console players... we can't even bind our controls in 2024! 🤣 Keep fighting the good fight brother!

In Chivalry some of those pc sweat lords who can seemingly block all manner of attacks on their mouse & Keyboard throw their toys out of the pram when they can't do sh*t about a cross map arrow to the dome. Medieval times were a beautiful thing 🤣

@@WolfBornePlays Lol, yeah. Idk - I guess it could also be the numerous stresses in life and that the arrow was just the last straw. But even then, all someone has to do is run erratically or hide behind something - like the archer’s teammate - and they’ve essentially just lowered their chances of elimination by 98%. I mean; dodging and moving erratically is literally vital in playing the game, so I have no idea how anyone dies so much that they find it permanently annoying ha.

It is a real shame about Chivalry 2 and the devs calling time on it, I think it will always retain a small loyal playerbase who plays simply because there is no alternative. @@WolfBornePlays Hey, I have the fully understanding, working on videos can be very timeconsuming, and most of the time, even if you do your best, only a small group of people will see the video, leaving a like, or sometimes subcribe to your channel. This leaves a bad feeling in me, "Is it not enough what I do? What am I doing wrong?" and on the other side of YT their are videos from waffels falling over, getting millions of views. But that's the generation from today I think, they don't care about hard work from small channels. No, of course Fornite or screaming IshowSpeed is better. @@vincer7824 Yeah I spent 1000hrs on EU servers and it was never an issue for me until the last 9 months or so. Since this video I'm enjoying a break from the game but folk have mentioned they still encounter cheaters even now, I would love to play on NA servers but if I do I have to wrestle with a 100+ping and that is not ideal in any game especially Chivalry console. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever truly get rid of cheaters regardless of game, they always find a way 😔 Have a great day bro! ✌🏻

@@DD-zh4by Played Mordhau console at launch, it was practically dead after a week. The times I was available to play on EU servers I couldn't get a lobby of more than 5 people so I went back to Chivalry.

@@WolfBornePlays It has a healthy playerbase atm, there's usually always multiple servers heftily populated. And I haven't encountered any cheaters. I'd advise making the change, because TB is going nowhere fast.

@@scottygaming10 yeah I used to play that franchise many moons ago, I remember buying the original when I was in uni... been a long time! I did see they've remade it a few weeks back and it looks like Capcom have actually done a good job!

I’ve been playing the franchise recently but the franchise has been going downhill since 2016 but hopefully this remake brings the franchise back from the dead. In my opinion the dead rising games are the best zombie games. Old classic dawn of the dead zombies. Being trapped in a mall infested with zombies is the best video game adaptation. And then you got the classic zombie films like Shaun of the dead, dawn of the dead, and night of the living dead.

@@scottygaming10 That was always the dream growing up, after watching the original Dawn of the dead film we always wanted a videogame that placed us in a mall under those circumstances. Dead Rising to this day is still one of the only videogames to ever do it, certainly the best interpretation to date. I understand your anticipation for the remaster, from what I've seen it looks solid!

@@EctoplasmIncorporated unfortunately I've encountered a few over the years but most of the real sneaky cheaters are doing it while being completely undetectable with subtle scripts enhancing sword wind up etc. I literally stopped playing Chivalry a couple of months ago to take a break, not sure what state the game lies in now.

@@thunderboltvintage2084 Yeah its easy to forget Torn Banner is only a 150 man team give or take, they used to be 65 strong but doubled in size after the Embracer takeover at their publisher Tripwire. It seems all the instabilities we experience on console are here to stay as their away fully working on their next game 'No More Room In Hell 2' which is also sadly only on pc. Sad times for Chivalry fans.
