@@HPDlEHPDlE Yes bro unfortunately screen tearing is an issue, I find there's less of it on particular servers for whatever reason whether that stability is a factor but screen tearing to some degree seems unavoidable. Hopefully the devs are looking at a patch that can alleviate some of it 🤞🏻

The social immersion of this game is what makes it special, you feel it when you actually play it bro. This video in particular was literally my first time ever playing so I was following my squad like I said at the beginning, it was never going to be all action kill streaks maybe you're best off watching COD.

I list the frames because believe it or not some folk actually play this game at 30fps for 4k not to mention I've noticed a bump in viewers just because I list the frames.. Arma runs like ass sometimes with screen tearing on console regardless of platform it's just how it is bro 🤷🏻

@@haijin7484 It's a brilliant social experiment in many ways, so many great moments created organically with allies you meet and befriend from all over the world to share in a virtual war experience. It's bloody hilarious too when you meet great folk truly enjoying themselves, no one is getting angry or sweating over arbitrary things like KD from what I've experienced so far it's a breath of fresh air in todays climate of multiplayer fps games.

@@TheSpragz Oh yeah bro the classic Bohemia Interactive hit detection, it's the same on DayZ on console too. For whatever reason sometimes due to net code etc we're literally p*ssing in the wind trying to land shots.

If you are missing your shots, it's not hit detection. You need to zero your rifle or you will miss your shots

@evelynspaceripley I agree but there is still whiffy hit detection on console, that's a fact bro! Server ping plays a role in that but it's still way off at times.

I've played on PC since day one and even at the beginning where there were massive server "issues", I just didn't experience any major disconnects and the like. I guess mileage will very for people

@@Immariolopez No official servers in conflict mode are 48 players so 24v24 with a faction of AI troops around the map too. Then there's custom servers where there's 128 player servers running with and without mods all crossplay enabled with all platforms.

@@Daniel189HLL Yeah unfortunately bro there is still screen tearing on the Pro, as you see in the video. It's obviously not as bad as the base ps5 but definitely noticeable. After a while playing I kind of just get used to it but if you're coming straight from another polished game you will really notice it. I feel Arma definitely needs a stability patch to improve things, sadly we're dealing with Bohemia Interactive so that may take a while? 😬

@@charleshawk6668Not ALL first person shooters run at 120hz on base ps5 bro I know that for a fact. Arma is a lot if fun if you're into military simulators, a lot of folk see a video and invest thinking it's like COD or battlefield but they soon realise this is its own genre. I would definitely like a patch to smoothen things on the Pro and reduce some of the screen tearing but we're dealing with Bohemia Interactive so I'm not holding my breath.

I said every shooter “I” play runs at 120hz…The Finals, R6 Siege, Valorant, WZ, Rivals, Destiny 2, OW2, I’ve played plenty Mil Sims. Been playing shooters for 20+ years. Use to play Insurgency and Operation Flashpoint. If Reforger gets some solid updates, I’ll give it a try

Sorry to burst whatever little bubble you reside in but there's a frame counter in the top right of the screen throughout the whole video, you can easily see it on a larger display. Arma stays in 60fps for the most part but does drop to the 50's or even high 40's during certain instances. So I suggest you "look closer" as you put it and establish what the difference is before saying dumb things, you sound like a MS fan boy 🤣 Arma runs fine on the PS5 PRO.. I don't speak for other platforms only the one I use!

Arma reforger actually has a bit more player count then hell let loose right now. Neither dayz or this game is bad there’s a lot to them and take time to learn and definitely don’t play in a way that everyone can enjoy but doesn’t make them bad games. Plus arma does teamwork way better then other.

@@johnelliott9810 Certainly for gaming and multiplayer games due to low response times etc and a smaller 28" display. If you're going big you're best off with an OLED or QLED that supports VRR and ALLM for best performance in 4k on the Pro bug gheu don't come cheap

@@johnelliott9810 Cheers bro! For this video I was playing on Performance mode to retain as high frame rate as possible. I do play on a 4K gaming Monitor with HDR and my Arma gameplay is recorded live in 4K and then I edit everything through Sharefactory and typically add a clarity filter to help with the compression to YT.. just helps with any artifacts from poor lighting in certain settings.

Most of the time on a base ps5 I get 50 60 fps but then the sever fps is 30
