Turns out Patrick Weekes took over lead writer in 2015 after 2014's Inquisition. Of course hes had his mitts in multiple bioware characters before hand. Why aren't we questioning the double standards here? If censorship is about “protecting people from harmful imagery," then why does this argument only go one way? And it’s not just limited to games-look at mainstream entertainment, like platforms such as Netflix, where objectification and oversexualization of men frequently go unchecked (which, by the way, I could care less about; expression is expression). But no one’s starting campaigns to censor these shows or games. Is the end goal really to create a better, more equitable society, or is it just about pushing a narrow agenda, ignoring the contradictions along the way? If this censorship crusade continues, it won’t be long before you alienate even more people, and you’ll be eating crow. What exactly are you trying to achieve? If your solution to discomfort is censorship, then you’re simply repeating history, stifling expression, just as it was done decades ago, under different banners but with the same misguided objectives.
