I watch every single one of your videos, and I find them a little more interesting thant the other travel chanels I have followed in the past, because I want to know more than just the one location they want to visit. I wish I understood more about your motivation on this one. I think it would help to establish some pop-culture or historical refrences for what makes you curious about Denmark, or what you expect to find there? Is there some movie that framed your expectations , and then did it live up to that. I mean, what lead your descision to ... Did you jump on a plane? Cause how much did that cost? It's hard for me to relate to this one without that framework of what lead you to scrifice X amount of time and money, in order to exxplore XYZ... or wait, was it in order to comfort your friend? And did you succeed in comforting him? Or was it just to couch surf? And because I can't read that from this story, I can't tell if you are a fun adult version of Ron Weasly with Black hair, and I love to go explore the world with you. (Which is what I've assumed in the past.) Or are you like my soon to be X husband, who loves to hear about other people's suffering because he knows it gives him an excuse to go to a fine restraunt and an amusement park and blow money that we don't have in order to avoid facing what needs to be done at. home. So lack of motivation, made this story hard to relate to, because it made the characters hard to read. Keep it coming, you have great charisma and personality and style, But I would love to hear more about what is in your head at the beginning of the adventure.

First of all I want to thank you for going into soo much detail. I will be honest that it caught me off guard and I was confused for a moment, as it wasn't the reaction I was expecting. For years I felt trapped doing a job I hated. So I had to change my life, I know that on my death bed I would regret not doing it. For 2 years I set about fixing old bad decisions and I was finally free. That sounds way nicer than it feels. Although I was free, I didn't know what to do next. This channel was supposed to be me experiencing the world, meeting new people and trying new things, as I never want to feel trapped ever again. It quickly started to look more and more like a travel channel. But that's never been my intention, it was supposed to be about experience and story. That could be in my local area or on the other side of the world. As I started to make videos I saw how other people also felt trapped in their jobs and lives. So I started to take you along the journey with me. I wanted to be honest in my videos. I had no idea what I was doing when I started and I still don't know what I am doing. But making these videos and experiencing different things just feels right. As for this video, just before I hit publish, something felt off. I wanted to tell a story of how we are more connected than it seems. How my friend had moved countries for a dream job yet it had been taken away from him soo quickly. That sometimes things don't go how we expect and how they may just be a stepping stone for the next thing. Yet, I don't think I did a very good job at telling it. I wanted to show that we should be there for friend and bring joy to them. However, most of the help happened off camera as it was stuff that was personal to him. I just didn't feel right sharing it. But after reading your comment and reviewing the video, it seems like the story did suffer from not having the core message. This video was way harder to make than I had thought. As I wanted it to be joyful, yet the undertone is loss. Which was hard to put across. The end is soo wrong with this video. It should have summarised what we did with my friend, what we worked through and where it's going (these were supposed to be in the next video). But, it's just ended up sounding so narcissistic "look at me and my problems, me, me me." That was never my intention. I wanted to break out of it feeling like a travel channel, yet I didn't do that good of a job this time. I just want to tell stories. With this video a lot of that story was with text on screen. I can see how this could easily be missed or misinterpreted. It's also a longer video than I make, so again, maybe that made it harder for me to see my mistake. Thank you soo much for taking time out of your day to actually tell me your thoughts. I did chuckle when I read the "Ron Weasley with black hair." I'm soo happy to have you along for the journey and I hope it's clearer what I am trying to do 🙏

Marrakech isn’t just an old city it’s only because you were in the old Medina that’s why everything looks old , and as a moroccan the people with snakes and monkeys are not actually a scam it’s just their work they be under the sun for hours and people expect to take pictures for free ,and as a moroccan I can give you a trick you better ask for the price in different places so you can compare because most of the time the prices are already put in the restaurants/clothes for example and it’s just a different way of pricing from the seller . And thanks for visiting Morocco you’re welcome anytime ❤️

You got the tourist price sadly, but actually not that bad you avoided the cobra/monkeys scam so it’s good, in Marrakech you definitely need someone moroccan to stay with you and show you around, i prefer friends over tourist guides that’s why try to make friends in social media living in a specific country then join them for a weekend there, maybe it’s an idea for the next videos😁

@@mrcobanThe 300g meat is definitely not worth 75dhs, it’s around 20-30 Maximum especially in those places, the 3 little plates don’t cost 300 dhs too, it’s around 20-50 dhs each maximum, 80 dhs for the taxi from Jamaa El Fana to the aeroport i don’t know exactly the price so let’s leave it at 80😅. Overall it’s not that big of price difference, hope you enjoyed it!

The guy you ate meat at his shop is called the kings chef (he used to cook for king hassan 2) and lots of celebrities go to him uncluding gordon ramsey and others. Thats a very known place for locals and tourists. 75dh is a bit high but you went to a special place and got a special price heheh, im joking. For the taxi, jamaa lafna to the airport should cost (if they use the metere) less than 50MAD because its not far and 80dh is a bit high. As the guy above said, its always best to go out with local friends, but if you like to explore alone i would advise you to always bargain if the prices seems unrealistic.

When I saw you stopped at an argan oil factory I had to laugh at the “goat tree” stock photo, because it’s the same one used at all argon oil factories, like the one I visited on our way to Essaouira (coastal city). As I was told, until a few years ago, when the tourist bus would approach the factory, a goat herder would force a bunch of goats up an argan oil tree against their will so the tourist could snap pictures. Animal-rights groups put an end to that charade and that’s why they all now show the same stock photo of the goats. 🐐🐐🐐

I love the window and door metaphors. I'm in a similar place. Resigned back in 2020 and had to heal these last years. I had started a reselling biz prior to leaving just to hwlp me segway ...I've played around with my main goals for a while putting them on the backburner while getting stability, and finally realized that I have time to do what I want and I can build stability while securing my confidence pursuing my own endeavors. Continuously chasing "security" is a trap because we are meant to be in changing environments and not doing the same thing day in and day out

You need to know one thing: when you try to imitate Italians, you are not actually imitating the accent of any region of Italy, but rather the accent of a fifth generation American person, who has one of his great-great-grandparents Italian and normally speaks English.

As someone coming up on their 25th year of marriage, those last 15s seconds of your video def hit the hardest. That's where it's at! Once again, terrific work.
