For the time being, I will primarily be using this channel to post videos related to the fighting games I'm currently playing (Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Guilty Gear Strive, and Injustice 2).
[MHUR] Crazy 8 KO Win With Dabi
8 KOs and 7k DMG might be the highest numbers I've ever gotten playing this character. I did play a bit sloppy in this match at times, but it was still a crazy game for me overall.

[P4U2 2.5] Adachi's Raw 5A Starter Corner Routes w/ Meter
Переглядів 2942 роки тому
In case there's any confusion about which version of each meterless tackle I'm doing, I always do 236A~A after 5B(3) and 236B~B(1) after 5C(1). Also, the tackle that's causing slide state is 236B~B. By the way, the route at 2:23 is a suboptimal but easier version of a slightly better route. If you want to see both that route and an additional one that I forgot to include in this video, please c...

This set-up was inspired by @VexedPB414 on Twitter. The cross-up is achieved by forward jumping and the fake cross-up is achieved by neutral jumping. IAD and airturn after the opponent techs. When doing the cross-up, j.C must be delayed to prevent the cross-up protection granted while waking up. j.A may also be used for the cross-up, though the combo proration is worse. This is by no means a complete guide, but here are some interesting (and seemingly quite strong) concepts that I thought were worth experimenting with and showcasing. Okizeme Notes (2:30) This seems like an incredibly powerful setup if you can do it consistently. The meaty 268H is so plus that 3f buttons will lose to run up grab. This forces the opponent to stand up and tech the grab, leaving t...

This is just a quick little video showcasing how Sol can take advantage of fast RRC after Bandit Bringer to create powerful, safe mix-ups. All combos shown on Ky in this video are universal, though 5K(2) should be used instead of 5K(1) at the end of the 2nd combo on heavy characters (Leo, Nago, Pot, and Goldlewis). Additionally, 5K(2) should be used instead of c.5S after j.K in the 3rd to last ...

This is what 200+ hours Adachi looks like
He has a feet pfp on cord
blue aura goes so hard on dabi 🔥
Gonna give them a try Thanks fellow goldlewis player
how much of this still works in the most recent version?
How do you connect the JC after airdashJB-J2C? Man, Adachi’s combos are so insanely hard.
Fuck it ill give you a sub. I like this game. I play the CPU on hellode
How do you cancel the sweep into the command grab, (I forgot the numpad notation for it)
I'm inputting 2AB > 236B > 214D. So sweep, the heavy attack version of the walk stance, and the heavy Persona attack version of the command grab. The walk gives you a tiny bit of added range because it moves Adachi forward slightly. That's why you can grab people from further away than it looks like you should be able to.
@@PunSenpai damn bro that was quick for an old video, thanks a bunch, it makes a lot of sense now
@@GainBit No problem. I just happened to be looking at my phone right as you commented and the question was easy to answer. lol
@punsenpai6468 okay so I'm coming back to this video, and I wonder how do you move with adachi freely on the ground after the 5b in the air to 2c and still get the tennis combo
@@GainBit I'm doing a thing called land cancelling. It's integral to almost all of Adachi's advanced combos. The gist of it is that you need to connect j.2C as low to the ground as possible and then cancel it into j.D/j.2D (I prefer j.D cuz it's better if you mess up). Both of those moves come out slowly, so if done properly, you will land before they come out, and doing so will cancel the moves. Hence why it is called a "land cancel." At that point, Magatsu Izanagi is still displaced from the j.2C, but Adachi has full freedom of movement. So you can do literally any kind of jump movement and then j.C from that position. Common follow-ups are IABD j.C > 236C (afflicts fear and gives you a safejump), IAD airturn j.C > 2AB > 236A~A, or even just doing a raw hop j.C into 5B > 5C(3) > SB Tackle > D Ghastly Wail for a kill combo. There are several more variations as well, but they get kinda complicated. That should be a good starting point, though.
Why use the j.A j.B fear setups instead of the instant air backdash ones?
Because it does more damage. But honestly, if you're doing fear setups, you're probably trying to do less damage on purpose to prevent the opponent's Awakening. So perhaps it's better to just do the normal version. That's usually what I've been doing online anyway.
How do you have the cpu set to wake up reversal?
It's not a setting. I manually record the DP and then manually play it back as I go in for the safejump. It's mostly for demonstration purposes because it isn't perfect. A better way to test if a safejump is real is to record the entire combo and safejump, play it back, then wake up and DP it yourself manually.
First time I saw someone go into another short hop down 2 after the first one. Looks stylish as hell.
The route at 2:23 is a suboptimal but easier version of a slightly better route. If you want to see both that route and an additional one that I forgot to include in this video, please click the link below: ua-cam.com/video/VAULdgPw0-g/v-deo.html
Hey i'm 1 months old in the game and i have a question, how do you do the thing at 0:09 - 0:11? I literally only did it once and can't figure out how
After you do the hop cancel, press the hop button again to airturn. This will alter the position of Magatsu Izanagi so that j.C hits the opponent at a different angle and 5C knocks the opponent into the corner instead of away from it. It will also cause Adachi to do 5C facing backwards, but it's fine because he'll autocorrect instantly when you jump cancel it (meaning you can continue the combo as if he's already facing the correct direction). Hope that makes sense.
@@PunSenpai i tried this and it worked! Thanks, man!
Absolutly ridiculous.
Hey, i have a question, "Ying Yang" OST is in the game?
It might be in the Japanese release, but it's not in the western one.
Do you have any tips for the j5B loops can't seem to get the second one in?
I'm sorry for responding so late. I guess I just missed this. You wanna delay the first j.B as long as you can so that it hits very low to the ground. Then you wanna slightly delay the follow-up 5C. Afterwards, you just do the same thing again, but delay the j.B a bit less because you have less time now. It helps doing the first one as low as possible, though.
I cannot for the life of me combo after B Mandala midscreen like in that last combo. Sick pressure tho
Delay the hop j.C as long as possible and then try to do the follow-up 5C as late as possible so that the opponent is very low to the ground. After you to do the j.D/j.2D land cancel, walk forward for a bit so that the opponent is low enough to be hit by 5C and also so that the opponent gets hit by Mandala in a weird way that causes them to stall slightly before being launched upwards. As soon as you see them fall from the sky, press 2A > 5B and go from there. After 5B you can either do what I did in the video, or go into B Riser > Sweep > A Tackle for a true fear safejump. This forfeits the potential for a fear reset with 2B, but it's guaranteed. This doesn't work if you started with sweep into SB Gunshot, however. You can land the sweep into A Tackle, but they will be able to air tech and you won't get a proper safejump.
Man Adachi is sick

godlike
i understand what you had been through
wow god tier
Thanks. I'm happy I was able to beat him at level 26 with no true weapon buffs. To be fair, it took like maybe 4 hours of figuring him out. His attack patterns were hard to understand at first and even after I started to, some of them still felt a bit inconsistent on dodge timing for whatever reason. He's still been the hardest fight in the game for me and I think I'm almost 80 hours in now. lol
@@PunSenpai hahaha I give up with this boss
@@andylangka7783 You can do it. Just gotta be patient.
what lvl are u ?
When I beat him, I was level 26. Pretty sure I was underleveled for this fight but kept at it despite that. I haven't spent the 40k runes I ended up with by the time I finally beat him because I went to bed right afterwards last night, but I'm about to figure out how to spend them all.
This is some good eating
Any tips for landing the low crossup setup at 4:28 ? I can do it from an empty jump some of the time, but cant get it consistently when doing jH beforehand
Admittedly, I can't get it very consistently either. I believe you only have a 3 frame window, so it's very difficult. I'd recommend only doing it when you have 50 meter so that you're still in a strong situation even if you timed it too late and got 862H (the overhead) instead of a reversed 842H. If the 862H is blocked, PRCing will give you a mix-up during guard crush that will either allow you to combo into 268H off of a low starter like 5K/2K or let you combo off of a fuzzy overhead j.K by going into j.D > c.5S > 268H. If 862H hits instead, you can PRC into a combo. This essentially means that you get an OS for whether or not you mistime the low and an OS for whether the overhead BT is blocked or not (assuming you did mistime the low). I hope that wasn't too hard to follow.
these BRC concepts are super useful, thanks
Glad they helped you. I also later realized that he gets a similar mix-up situation from PRCing after 486H and 862H, in that he can do a fuzzy OH combo off of j.K or a low combo off of 5K. Doing it off of 862H is especially strong because it's an obnoxious mix when paired with 842H and PRCing after it is an OS. If it hits, PRCing allows for a full combo that wasn't otherwise possible. If it's blocked, you get a true 50/50 into a decent combo either way. I definitely recommend experimenting with that as well.
excellent
SICK!
sick!
Holy crap you did so well considering this matchup is debatably the worst matchup in the game
This isn't even Grodd's worst MU, IMO. But it is pretty bad for sure. Definitely a 7-3 in Aquaman's favor.
@@PunSenpai what do u think is his worst MU?
@@auxilyatg5321 Atrocitous, Fate, Beetle, and Scarecrow are all worse MUs for Grodd than Aquaman in my experience. I edited this comment because I previously said Enchantress was one of his worst MUs, but I now only think it's a really obnoxious 6-4. It's not a 7-3 like the other characters I listed here.
This was absolutely dope
sick grodd!
very well played
Thanks! I honestly need to play this MU more. I still lack exp against Enchantress.
legit
If u hadn’t used that down 2, it would’ve been amazing
I had to in order to get the opponent to stay in front of me while I continued the leap loops. It was the only way I could carry them to the center of the stage for a background bounce.
What do you play on?
PS4. Did you wanna play me?
Yeah that would be awesome but I’m on Xbox :/
Is this patched?
I honestly have no clue. I dropped this game a while ago.
@@PunSenpai ah darn, well thanks for replying and why did you drop it? I ask so I'll know what to expect when I feel the same lol
@@Supernir The honest reason is because I think it's an unbalanced, braindead mash-fest with watered down versions of characters that aren't nearly as fun as they were in their original games. I used to like it at first, but I gradually lost interest over time. I imagine you'll disagree, though, since you're still playing. But I don't really wanna get into a discussion about it.
@@PunSenpai ah I actually just started to play it even tho I had it on release, tho i hear many sentiments like yours so I wanna keep enjoying the game as long as I can expect those criticisms, ya know? But also yeah I'd say it being watered down is the worst crime since its noticeable at the start lol
Still in the game apparently, but it doesn't really result in you doing that much damage in the end anyways for the INSANE meter dump it takes to do anything. Still hilarious though
Bro do you still play?
I do. You wanna play sometime?
@@PunSenpai yes bro, I'll add you later today cuz I have work but my psn is xXjusthitXx
man, hv u participated in tournaments?? ur grodd is godlike

B R U T A L
Duuuuude... This is crazy. You should upload more Grodd (please)
I'm surprised there are still people who wanna see my Grodd, lol. I'm pretty much done with Injustice at this point, tbh. I have a bunch of matches I never uploaded, though. Like a ton. I've just been too lazy and disinterested in the game to bother. That said, I appreciate it.
Yeah I stopped playing it about 5 months in so I get it... If you could upload those "lost" clips I'd be really happy. I see you're playing a lot of BlazBlue now!
@@RhizonXXVII Honestly, I probably won't bother. But who knows? And yeah, I've been playing BBTAG. I have some more clips I wanna upload of that game as well, but I've been distracted the last week or so because I finally started playing Persona 5. It's a popular J-RPG, if you don't know. The Persona series is one of the 4 featured in BBTAG. You may already know all of that, but most of my subscribers only seem to care about my Grodd content. lol
@@RhizonXXVII Anyway, why did you stop playing Injustice so early? I ask because you still seem to have an interest in it.
@@RhizonXXVII You know, it's probably weird for me to say this, but I think people hype Grodd up a little too much. Like I find him interesting because there's a lot he can do with his seemingly limited options, but I think people are wrong for calling Grodd a hard character to play. I mean, he takes a little bit of getting used to. His routes were definitely weird for me at first. And cancels definitely took a little bit of grinding in the lab. But like...actually playing this character is pretty easy. It's almost entirely about spacing. Stay close enough to stampede them but far enough back to make them whiff. Try not to leap at obvious times. Abuse your amazing buttons like D1 and D2...and that's like the gist of it. And those buttons are so good that I literally mash them sometimes and it's like not even that dumb of a thing to do. There are various resets and conditioning tactics but it's nothing really more difficult than any other character. Like, Grodd requires patience but that's something any character needs to be solid. He does have several bad MUs but the way you play those bad MUs is basically just a more cautious or specialized version of the same playstyle I just described. I don't mean to sound egocentric, but I think the issue is mainly that Injustice attracts a more casual audience than a lot of other fighters. And casual players don't have the discipline needed for patient, high level play. I think Grodd may only seem hard to play because characters like Starfire exist. I know people like my Grodd because my cancel game has been on point since before they made it easy, and also because I do more creative routes than most people, but eh. The people who really respect me give me too much credit, honestly.
Disgusting...
good games. I play more fireball heavy with Yu myself
DatCrossGuy I definitely underutilized it in some of these matches but it's often because I fear a fullscreen super punish. It just depends on the situation, though. I think I mainly should've been using it more in the first match.
DatCrossGuy I've also played some matches where I just spam the shit out of Zio. I guess it depends on my mood too. I just use it less when I'm trying to play it safe. But there is such a thing as playing too safe, obviously. lol
Jubei???
Arc S.W. Yeah. Did you read the description?
