mine foamed really bad

Nice video. The Meguiar's one has an iron decon in it. Im not sure if the Griot's one does. I recently removed the full size 18" hyper silver wheel with its original tire from the underside of my 2014 Lexus GX 460 for the first time in 10 years and 120k miles. I picked up a medium size flatblade screwdriver in my tire the other day but luckily it was on a side street so, I was not driving fast and it did not blow out my tire instantly. It did however break the handle clean off of the screwdriver though. My tire went completely flat within about a minute or so I had to pull over, break out the special tool kit, and lower down the spair wheel. Having to mount a 10 year old tire tire on a 5,100lb 4x4 SUV was sketchy but it got me down the road about a mile to my neighborhood Discount Tire thankfully. I got a new rear tire to replaced the brownout one and also decided to replace the tire on the spair to. Anyway, The wheel was under there with the nice face side of the wheel pointed upwards so that was good as the wheel looked fine other than being very dirty. I deep cleaned it today and used bug and tar remover first. The final result looks great other than these "mystery stains" on the wheel that did not come off. I'm wondering why nobody seems to ever use anything to scrub and agiate the wheel in conjunction with these cleaners? What is the strongest type of pad or cloth that I could use on the wheel with a cleaner without scratching or swirling the wheels. I'm afraid I may have to use a high speed buffer and use a mild cutting compound on the wheel to remove these stains but, am not sure how much clear coat Lexus uses on it's wheels. I guess the only to find out is use a paint thickness/clear gauge but they are expensive for an accurate one.

Why does it have to be denatured?

Awesome. This is pretty much what I do, & if I'm out of 0000 grade steel wool, I use aluminum foil (which also works well). But for polish, I use *Turtle Wax Chrome Polish & Rust Remover.* It not only wipes off surface rust like dirt, but it polishes nicely. I definitely recommend that as a final polish. One thing I never tried (but must now) is the water/alcohol mix to wipe 1st.

I just used that same turtle wax over my whole car which is black and i am very impressed it removed so much swirling and light scratches over the whole car! Huge thumbs up for this product

It’s a total crock .. followed directions to a tee and purchased items needed and to my dismay it did absolutely nothing

polishing glass is so hard man, spent like 2 h with the rotary and sonax glass polish. little to no difference. The position to polish is so unconfortable. I saw another youtube video that really got amazing results, but it was on a rear windshield, where you have a better position, he used a heavy rotary, heated the glass until it steamed and after started polishing, cooling it with water betweed passses.

Maybe it wasn't coming across as good on camera but honestly it still looked pretty scratched. I am battling with my own windshield right now, replacing it is $1550 :/ In essence, dual action polishers take a LONG TIME for glass polishing, the smooth fixed rotary polisher is the way to go. But that also produces so much heat that it warps the plastic layer sandwiched between glass laminates of windshields, if you are not careful. And by careful, I mean paranoid. Somehow paying that exorbitant amount of money seems like a better choice with every hour of polishing and getting no results.

The Bissell video says depress the trigger and spray the area to be cleaned and let the solution sit for 3-5 minutes. Then use the scrubber/vacuum to clean the fabric. No need to use trigger on every pass. Solution has no time to work and you are just sucking up solution as fast as you dispense it.

70% iso alcohol ...cost me 5$. Just did the entire front end of my truck. Much easier then the degreaser i bought from autozone.

Can i wet sand from 3000 up 7000 or 10000 and then do the polish ?

1. Read this instead of watching the video and save 5 mins of your life. 2. Let a damp cloth sit on the stain for 10 mins. 3. Rub denatured alcohol on the stain using a clean cloth. Wipe dry 4. Wipe it with a magic eraser. Wipe dry 5. Apply leather conditioner to the seat with a cloth applicator. 6. You're welcome.

Great video. I spent around 12h to 15h polishing my windshield with this product. I managed to scratch it deep while removing ice. It got so bad I was going to replace the glass but I had a DA polisher and gave it a try. It removed everything, for $30. Massive work tho, but now I don't scrape off the ice😂

I’ve beige leather seats got my windows tinted and I got those hard water dirt stains all over I tried Using some interior cleaner and shampoo foam with scrub but nothing is helping can anyone please help?

The specialist glass polishers start with cutting discs to remove deep scratches - the cerium oxide is the finishing polish. (but i haven't seen any demos from those guys doing curved surfaces yet)

Thaks for the video. Does the denatured alcohol remove the seat dye? I have a new GMC where a parking attendant had a pen in his hack pocket and left a 4" mark. I once tried rubbing alcohol on another car with beige seats and they removed some dye. I did that with a q-tip. I was not happy with that attempt to remove pen.

Luckily nobody is gonna wash their car with wheel cleaner so with just regular and proper soap washing these products will probably be effective as a maintenance product after the first application by simply doing a quick application each time the car is washed. Just my humble opinion.

Pen exploded in a side pouch I wear for work.....Ink blotches everywhere. Dont care about my clothes, just my seat. I was stressing - not anymore. Thanks man!!!
