Nice display. I did one similar years ago for about 50 Dale Earnhardt Winner’s Circle cars and recently started collecting what I like in Hot wheels. Collectors are making it more difficult to find what I like thought.
You’re right! It’s a tough job finding ones you like but it’s worth it. Haha. Happy hunting!
Easily the best and sturdiest farmhouse style desk on UA-cam
Wow. That is super high praise. Thank you so much! ❤😊
Thank you so much. I will definitely use your method. It’s easy and clear. Appreciate it. Cool video.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I'm working on having more videos up soon. Hopefully will have a bunkbed build ready to film soon
Have you ever built a army tank bed?
I have a few more fun beds on the horizon to build and design in 2024! I’m definitely looking for a neat way to do treads that will be safe and awesome. Stay tuned for more 😎👍🏼
I'm going to etsy to buy the plans. We are planning to make two for our boys who share a room. Love, love, love this!
Thank you so much! I have them set at 25% off right now so you can get a great deal too. I’d absolutely love to see your finished beds when you’re done!

Any concern for the wood top catching on fire or being damaged by the heat?
Hi thanks for the question. I haven’t had any issues at all with the top burning or damaged but I also keep the fire relatively small with only a few logs or combustible pieces at a time. Hope that helps 👍🏼👍🏼
❤
Thank you 😊👍
So I saw this a few years back as someone posted on a disc golf forum, so I have made many different versions of it, but I will tell you what I have found to be helpful. 1. Instead of an extended pole because it can get pretty heavy have the pole length about 2 feet and use 3/4 inch pvc due to the fact that 1 inch is way to heavy and 1/2 inch doesn't seem to be strong enough. 2. have the threaded rods that you are inserting be almost as long as what you have shown but have it so that it's on both sides and secure them with some washers and bolts. So if you are tossing this into the lake (Which I recommend, it will grab on top and bottom any discs it catches. 3. This next step is important if you are going to do like I mentioned and toss it in which is have that same triangular shape but run a small but strong rope (buy 75-100ft so that you can cut and adjust) but run that down and through the pvc and back out the end. The reason for this and if you consider it it will make sense if you were to get snagged on something which is bound to happen when you pull the rope it re-enforces the head of the rake, so it doesn't break. 4 also I would recommend drilling lots of sinkholes into rake, so it's not floating at the top or taking forever to sink. 5. I would also recommend once its complete and you have used the pipe glue to secure everything and have tightened all your bolts securely to wrap duck tape around most of the rake head to again re-enforce all the joints when pulling in the discs. I have collected over 700 discs from my local course and I'm always trying to find new ways to improve this process! outside of picking up a remote controlled submersible drone with robotic arm attachment which is about $4,000 I have found this works the best. Happy fishing all... OH AND STAY OUT OF MY LAKE!!! :) jk
My next project is gonna be a really nice handmade wooden sign that says “Stay outta my lake!” Haha. Love that. Thanks for the suggestions, outstanding feedback 😎👍🏼
I built one recently. In an attempt to make it stronger I ran a solid metal rod through it in front of the all thread. My hopes is this spreads the pressure out across the rake.
Nice idea. I recently bought a underwater drone with a robotic arm and went out to the pond and the arm didn’t work.. but I’ve been thinking about making something myself. This is a cool idea! Thanks for the video
Oooh I would love to overengineer a pond drone with a massive robotic arm! That’s some cool inspiration 😊 thanks bro!
How do you make it sink if you are using a rope?
Hi! Thanks for the great question. You can drill multiple holes throughout the pipe to allow the water to fill inside and it will sink (even with a rope) 👍🏼
"PromoSM"
Nice! My daughter is sort of a " master " wood crafter and makes me whatever display rack I need ( have room for 😂). Convenient 😉 Of course I gotta get the supplies 😂
Awesome! I hope the build goes really great for you. Get those cars on display 😎😎👍🏼

U need to make a door for your propane tank
I am working on a future version of the table that has propane fire. This one is natural fire. Stay tuned for more coming very soon, thanks for watching 👍👍
So true every time I go to Walmart there’s none lol
Seriously!! Lol … I might need to make another video on ‘ how to find hot wheels cars in unlikely places’ lol 😂
What a great video. I noticed the same lack of Hot Wheels in all big box stores when shopping gifts for my little nephews. Thought it was just post holiday fever but its now June 2023 and Walmart, Target, even the Dollar stores are all picked clean. Oh and here in Miami are the prices: $1.18 Walmart $1.19 Target $1.25 Dollar Tree/ Family Dollar/ Dollar General
Thank you so much! I used to live in Miami area also. Lots of collectors are hopping into the game. No more $.99 happy little gifts I’m afraid. Maybe the company will start producing more cars and the fervor will die down a bit. Happy hunting and collecting 😊👍🏼
I have the same exact story about my wife going to Target and me loving JDM cars and yes, they are hard to find now. Luckily we have a diecast specific hobby store here in Vegas! Good video!
Aw man I’m jealous! Lol. Well glad to hear we have a lot in common 😊 … I hope you like my next video. I’m making a lifted monster truck bed for my almost 4-year old, coming soon 😎👍🏼👍🏼
hey, how did you stick the mdf board securely to the wall? just some nails?
I used a 2.5” drywall screw into a stud on each side of the board. (They hide easily behind the car’s packaging so you can pretty much put them anywhere the studs are spaced in your home) 👍🏼
@@MakerTeej thanks!
awesome!
came for the hot wheels . stayed for the disc golf... . i want to build that hot wheels display minus the bleachers. just the hot wheel rack/ what materials did you use again? great video!
Thanks bro! I appreciate it. The build was made from a 2’x4’ sheet of mdf and drywall L-channel - best wishes on your build 😎👍🏼👍🏼
Best video. I’m so upset I had to go through so many video to find this one 😂. Again great job
Thanks so much! Better late than never. Glad you’re here now 😎👍🏼👍🏼
Great video. Just what I was looking for to start my planning.
Thank you! Best wishes on your build 😎👍🏼👍🏼
Haha nice... I found this great roof shovel that is meant to remove snow from house roofs ... I altered it slightly to make teeth / gaps and voila
Very cool idea! Hope you find a bunch of discs and enjoy the hunt 😎
Nice idea. My pond has lots of algae and moss which complicates things, but this sure beats me wading and feeling around with my hands ( I kept picturing an angry turtle having my finger for lunch, lol).
Thanks! Yeah mine has reeds and slime but just like you said, this is a much safer and better option imo. Hope you build it and find some! 😎👍🏼

Great build! Love the tip on the X braces!
Thank you so much! I'm glad it helped 😎👍
Nice!!
Thank you! 🙏 😊
Awesome build.. on the X parts I've seen people have one long piece and then have two short pieces.. I love the half lap on those.. if I ever get the chance to build one I want to do it that way
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you get to your build soon and send me some pics when you’re done 😎👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Absolutely will do! Thank you so much for the support! I have more coming very soon 😎👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
I don’t see a link for the build plans. I love the design.
Hi! Thanks so much for the compliment. The link to my Etsy page is www.etsy.com/shop/MakerTeej Hope you can check it out. Thanks!
Wondering how you protected the wood from heating up or burning when you lit the fire? The bowl would have gotten very hot.
The bowl actually dissipates the heat very well so the sealed, PT wood isn’t affected when a fire is lit. But ultimately this is designed to be a small ‘ambiance style’ fire pit and I wouldn’t encourage anyone to have large amounts of wood burning in it.
Good to know as I was wondering the same thing. Good build.
Looks great! Good job!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼👍🏼
