Love the i-cord tip!
This is great! Thank you for these tips. The Magic Loop on DPNs is genius!!!!
How fun to see your gnomes and hear about their design histories!
This is so helpful! I have learned so much! Thank you!
@@barbaragrant4857 that’s awesome!
Did you put your stitches with wrong sides facing each other on your gnome?
It depends on which pattern you are following. Always follow the written instructions rather than a tutorial since I don't film a new tutorial for each technique.
Thanks for all your great tutorials
Thanks for this tutorial
These videos are the best! Thank you. 😉
Thanks so much for this tutorial! Very helpful as I go to even out my colorwork on Gnana’s festive wear.
What kind of needles are you useing
These are Karbonz - my favourite gnome needles. They're stiff like metal, but warm and grippy like wood.
Love this so much!
Brilliant. Thank you so much. Not only will it help with Gnana but also legwarmers im doing
@@ezzy600 knitting inside out is such a game changer!
I am so excited to start a gnome. Just bought your book. I’ve been stuck knitting socks.(addictive) so now I’m going to try gnomes :))
Very good tutorial. Very well explained. Thank you.
Hi Sarah, I love your Gandolf grey and white. Oh, those are just so adorable. The curly toe so adorable. But I am so happy to see you with Ponytails I love wearing my ponytails it's a bit wonky since my hair all the way down to my waist just cut it about five inches. Going to bathroom and forgetting to move it finally got to me and some of it had to go...LOL..LOL
what a clever and fun way to make a Beard thank you so much but the word breath was very helpful not to give up :-)
This is a great video, thank you ❤️
Thanks so much for the tutorial! Very helpful. And I will follow the written instructions about when to cut the yarn as you wrote! ❤
Das kam ja heute wie gerufen 😍
Question. Why cut the colors instead of just bringing them up the side?
@@jasmineluttjohann2855 it’s written that you don’t cut them - I cut the first set to film the tutorial and then the battery died so I had to do that again in a different section.
🤦♀️I don’t know if I should unravel and knit again because the extremities of my first 10 rows are uneven and the angles unequal on each side. I had a bad knitting day, full of mistakes today. I didn’t want to spoil my surprise but I’ll wait to see what’s coming to take a decision. Hopefully there was a video. It wasn’t obvious to me that the red line was on both sides.
@@IsabelleMénard-inf there are several people in the Ravelry threads who missed this detail - many of them are leaving it as is. It still has a decorative effect, after all. Your gnome can be different than the pattern and still be beautiful
Sarah, I would like to purchase and join in with Gnana’s Visit. Do you sell your pattern anywhere other than Ravelry? I hope to get it right away! ❤ I received my book today, purchased through Amazon. 🎉
Yes, I also sell on Payhip. payhip.com/ImaginedLandscapes
Great tutorial, very helpful!❤
Thank you! Reading the instructions, i was really considering leaving out the faux embroidery, but your video makes it feel so doable and accessible. I'm already learning so much on Day 1!
@@michellebee1117 it’s funny how written instructions can seem so confusing but a visual makes it accessible. Cooking, crafting, diy…
I think gnomes are adorable; Gnana will be my first gnome.❤
That's so exciting! The Ravelry group is a great place to ask for help and post photos - there's always someone online who wants to help gnome knitters, lol
Is this section worked with the 2.75mm needles?
Hi, the instructions mention needles for working flat are 2.75mm
Yes. Work with your largest needles.
Hi from Oklahoma! I love your Gnomes! I am a retired nurse who finally has lots of time to knit and I found myself sometimes taking my knitting too seriously as you described. I love the fact that these patterns are FUN and flexible and don't use a lot of yarn , etc.etc. Thank you for the joy and "whimsy" you bring to so many!!!
@@cherylhutchins4592 thanks for taking the time to say that. You’ve brought a smile to my face today

I've knit two Grimblewood gnomes so far (and I love them) and I was looking for one to knit for my daughter (whose birthday is this month). I was thrilled to see this video suggested to me on UA-cam. Gnorri is the perfect gnome for my daughter, who is a strong advocate for pockets in all clothing! I hope to choose yarn today and get knitting.

It's Gnatasha from "Never Not Gnoming" knit in worsted weight. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/never-not-gnoming
