I never understand what's so good about Ada Wong. I mean I know she pretty, cool, sexy and mysterious but I don't think she's anything special. Her character just appear to be manifestation from most man fetish and fantasy, the sexy and smart female spy. How do I put it? There's a lot of female characters who have Ada characteristics. Compared to Claire or Rebecca. Ada is like the classic sexy woman in action movies.

He said it...unless you were there for the releases...you shouldn't really have a strong opinion on the impact of an emotion...like horror. RE1 when it came out was horror on a different level. Don't blame the content maker...just stating facts...based off of my opinion LOL.

As a 12 year kid, Director's Cut scared the crap out of me until I got a hang of it. That first zombie killed me a few times while I spun around in circles, trying to figure out the controls 😅

I first played re4 in 2008. it was my first introduction to the series. I was not a fan of the inventory system, but the over the shoulder I could handle. the castle areas are really where the spooky got me with certain enemies, but everything outside of it was pure action. Since playing the re4 remake, I can definitely say the village fear factor has been improved. the intensity in fights has increased. the castle is even better, though I'm not a fan of salazars new boss fight in the remake. I prefer the remake over the original with all things considered, minus salazar.

I would argue resident evil 2 is survival horror and not that much action yeah sure gun upgrades are amazing and kicking ass and holding your own but it’s not action at all it’s just survival horror your adapting as the scary enemies are as well and another thing resident evil four is a mixture between horror and action, which is not bad at all if anything was perfect, but five just wrapped it up to action and then there was no horror out at all

re 4 on oculus is one of my most favorite resident evils because of how surprisingly scary it can be.

Re4 is not about horror is more abaout feel rushed, tensed, overwhelmed by the enemies you are all the time in a stressful situation where you dont have any break to breath

Hear me out: The VR modes in 4,7 and 8 make the games way scarier because they’re in your face. I know it probably doesn’t change your ranking but if anyone has the chance, try the VR modes.

I will say RE5 does have a few scary moments most people forget. But obviously overall its quite underwhelming scare wise

I will say RE0 and RE6 will be pretty dang difficult to remake. Harder than all the others. Just for obvious reasons. They will for sure have to get creative with the redsign aspects

Re revelations 2 theme and re4 OG theme hits so hard

Sheva isn’t even that bad, I just beat it, only thing I noticed is the game always has her go behide you, and since Chris is already super slow, it’s hard to turn around and run to get out of the way of an attack in time before getting hit, other than that she mostly came in clutch many times, it’s the remastered one, so maybe it’s just improved idk

RE4Remake is my favorite game of all time and the best in the RE series by far. Glad to see Village not get the immediate hate it seems to always recieve. I actually found it better than 7. Not as "scary" but definitely more fun to play and still has its moments of pure terror. Its like the love child of RE4 and 7 and I loved it! 7 is great but it is hella janky imo and the asthetics just kinda got boring to me to be honest. Great vid. Subscribed

To understand what made RE4 scary when it first came out was not the survival horror atmosphere - but the sheer amount of enemies swarming you. We had never seen anything in that capacity, let alone the 1 hit kills that the chainsaws could do if they caught you off guard. The village swarm at the beginning really set the tone as to what you were in for

My first resident evil game is re4 remake

I remember playing RE4 for the first time when i was 8-9 years old, and i just freak out in the first house when you have to defeat the first zombie, i almost cryed and tell to my dad to play instead. Years later i start playing only when a frend come to my house cause i was scared to play alone Today I'm 23 and im ngl i played alone again and sometimes i took some jump scares that make me shit myself again.

RE game imagery with FF background music. The crossover we didn't knew we needed. By the way, the og RE4 was never considered any scary.

For me, the most horrifying one was the first, and even the remaster, that first zombie scene destroyed me. Then its re2 remake, at 25 that shit made me so scared i didnt want to complete it at 100%

The first resident evil game i played was 7, and im currently playing through re4 remake. I absolutely love the games like no other though.

I would honestly change the 4 Remake and Village to Spooky. Village has a specific horror moment that only works the first time, which is in the Beneviento house. RE4 doesn't even have anything to say, the setting and soundtrack in the Remake fail to create the horror setting that the original had. Leon kept talking all the time, breaking the immersion of being in a place alone. 4R has so many flaws as Survival Horror that I'm surprised to see people saying that it's more Survival Horror than the original, when even with the problems that 4 OG had, it still managed to be an excellent Survival Horror, while in the Remake everything seemed to be done in a hurry, breaking our immersion in the game.

As someone who's only played the Re4 remake and not the original I don't see how the original could be that much better. The remake is just so good that I just don't see a game that came out 20+ years ago being better, but I could be wrong and one day I'll play the original
