Was planning on getting a 5080 anyway, didn't sell enough kidneys for a 5090

I normally just use DLSS quality in games when it has the option, in cyberpunk I do use Balanced when I enable Path Tracing

Newer Nvidia card - Newer CPU needed Newer Nvidia card - Higher Price And of course bigger (maybe not in this case), but when I'm trying to save up for the latest GPU, each year I have to save up more so it comes out that I won't put my hands on this card within the next 30 years. I think that intel won't be able to catch up with newer generations if this continues.

Got the 6600XT XFX and the 5600X CPU for 3years and i know it is a great 1080P card not made for 1440P. Time to upgrade to 7800XT for 1080p because games is getting out of hand with bad optimization.

Personally I don't like upscaling, especially when it's recommended to just run the game, like many devs and publishers are doing now. That it looks better than native is relative, poor implementation of AA methods shouldn't justify it. I can see a lot of errors with upscaling, shimmering, frizzle, noise. All of this with CNN DLSS, can't comment about the new transformer model because I haven't tested personally, and youtube compression sucks to have a clear idea of how it really looks. Can think of only to scenarios where upscaling is useful, to give old GPU's some extra life if you can't afford upgrading, and to lower power consumption and heat generation.

Nvidia's upscaling and frame gen are included in the cost of the GPU. AMD's frame gen is free. For example I got my 6000 series GPU before AMD had frame gen and now I have frame gen included in the drivers so I can use it on games I actually play instead of waiting for the developers to actually implement it into the game itself, AMD didn't make me have to get a new GPU for it. Nvidia cards tend to cost more than AMD or Intel cards with similar performance so you are paying for DLSS.

Even a brand new 4090 makes lots of more sense than the 5080 imo. You literally pay for 4080 Ti performance and much less vram. Frame gen tax is massive. Im sticking to my 3080 for at least another gen.

i have a 1070 but when i play siege i can play 1 or 2 games perfectly fine but after that it just non stop freezes any ideas whats causing that to happen?

Put something inside the oven. After 20 minutes, open the oven. You will get the same feeling as having a 5090 on max performance

Just some food for thought. I would avoid saying "and that sort of stuff." If you're giving a tutorial you should flash a full list on screen for 2 seconds or so so people can pause and look at the full list. Maybe screenshot if they want to. One full list for the light clean, one full list for the deep clean. Instead of just saying "and that sort of stuff" Because if we know what "That sort of stuff" means then we don't need your tutorial. And if we do need your tutorial then we probably don't know what "That sort of stuff" means. This is good information but you should also expand on what you mean so any target demographic can understand both beginner and advanced.
