You are funny and have a beautiful personality. Such a hard story and yet you laugh. I have had a long health journey as well and what I ended up in is MCAS that got worse after Covid. Have you seen a naturopath that can see your situation for another angle? I’m studying nutrition and herbalism to find a cure for myself. The latest research on MCAS is really interesting. Hope you find some relief.

I once attended a webinar on mitochondrial disorders where the team explained that the latest research indicated exercise increases the number of mitochondria (obviously). Even though those mitochondria were still dysfunctional, the increased quantity significantly boosted the total ATP production and greatly improved the fitness levels of those individuals as well as the mitochondria themselves ! Have you heard about that? you’re using a ventilator, but resistance training can also increase mitochondrial count. It’s something you can do mostly while sitting. I know it seems counterintuitive to ask someone with breathing difficulties to exercise, but I believe that slow, progressive overloading, starting with something gentle, could significantly improve your fitness over time. And they said that prolonged aerobic training was not an ideal way to increase mitochondria in disorder patients. "Therapeutic Approaches to Treat Mitochondrial Diseases: “One-Size-Fits-All” and “Precision Medicine” Strategies" Bottani et al 2020 Garlic is excellent natural blood-thinning supplement ( as you may know prior the surgery people can't eat garlic for this reason). I’m sure you’re on warfarin or other medications, but if those aren’t providing sufficient results, incorporating garlic into your diet might offer some additional benefit. God bless you ❤

Well that is wild. Did they end up going through with the warfarin? Did you find that you had more clots post-TPN than you did pre-TPN? Anyway, you obviously deserve a medal for all the horrible things you've gracefully weathered. Btw, your friday funny series is friggin' hilarious; watched the whole series with my family; you clearly have a knack for storytelling/theater...I'm guessing each of those videos took A LOT out of you, cuz the production value seems incredibly high.

No, the doctor did not prescribe warfarin. The number of blood clots are about the same pre and post TPN. Thank you for your kindness. I really appreciate it. I am so glad you enjoyed the Friday Funny videos.
