Your lessons are exactly what I've been looking for, and even the basic music-reading exercises are great because we all need to develop that instantaneous correlation between a written note and the physical action(s) that one must take to perform it. Is there a harp you could please recommend for a 10 year old beginner student?

Hi Darlene, I'm new to the harping family...I was doing pretty good until you switched over to your larger harp...now I'm completely confused and I don't get playing the numbers...can I ask why you switched from calling out the notes to counting numbers? Maybe I can understand better...a new student from 🇨🇦 I'm a senior and i just retired last year...I've always wanted to learn to play...you're the best online teacher...but i wish you can go slower lol 😆 😅😂

I haven't played any instrument in the past, and had no musical background, but I am desiring to play harp, because just like Charlie, I'd like to help bring comfort to those who need it, through the wondeeful and beautiful music/sound of the harp. That is so neat! We have a rescue dog who deals with anxiety and when I play my harp, he lays down and totally relaxes. An interesting experiment would be to go to a kennel or dog pound and see what affect that would have. Often kennel workers have to wear ear protection because the barking is so loud.
