I was not as upset at this controversy mostly based on prior experience with ships like the Starfarer and Caterpillar; I bought these ships with certain things CIG said the ships would do that they no longer do. THe starfarer was supposed to refine QT fuel, but since quantanium is mined off rocks, the Starfarer cannot refine it any more, and THAT was a key reason for me to buy that ship. With the Cat, the command module was promise as a form of "snub" like parasite ship you could use to scout, explore ahead, etc, but last I heard CIG talk abou tit (with the Ironclad's command module" they said "Its just an escape pod, and you only want to detach it in a worst case scenario as a last resort" so sounds it no longer has that ability? So now, even thhough the CAt and Ironclad ahve the command modujle to look as its own ship, until the capability of something or a module is in game, I dont' purchase concept gbased on that assuming something may change. With the base build module, because I didn't see it for sale, I assumed it wasn't a thing. This is like when you see a concept car; it could be the coolest thing, but until you see it on the dealership's floor, no assurances that that will make it beyond a concept or idea. SO, I wasn't mad at this, but I think CIG needs to be better. The explanation as to why a module can't do base building is pretty poor one, since if the CSV-FM can use the drones to do some basic buildings, why not the module have done stations? Just not the best communication is the problem. I dont' think they are lying, or doing a bait and switch. I think oft, they want to do something, but implementing the idea becomes not possible or complicated to the point where its not worth it. FOr example, I believe that if CIG redoos the Connies, the way the snub docks will be scrapped in favor of a little small hangar. The snub Idea is cook, and most of the time, doesn't work. I don't think its malficence, just they come up with an idea, sell it to us, and the realize they can't do it. SO in the future, maybe DON"T say these things until you hhave proved that you can do it. ?

Taurus is a better ship all around accept for the cargo bay. Also starlancer is more pretty and up to date. So if that matters to you go starlancer. For anything else the taurus is better (for now)

I tried the game a couple of days ago and uninstalled it, fully expecting it to be buggy-I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll give it another year and try again. Thankfully, I’m pretty relaxed about these things. I’ve sunk far too much money into this to give up now.

I wish I had a computer that would run this just everything is so expensive now and with what's going on with China, who knows how more expensive parts are going to be

Honestly 2S5 + 2S4 guns still give pilot some quite impressive dps, + decent shield and scm speed and maneuverability, it’s not so bad at combat. Still a very impressive ship to me.

The state of every game while being developed, there's a reason alphas aren't meant to be consumed as a "main game" but as a test bed for tech and features.

They kind of blew it by not getting the transit refactor done, but planning for that was at the same time no one knew if server meshing was going to work. It has worked and now all the bugs and dependencies have emerged. I say, let’s laugh at it and let them work and things can only improve

Missions still pay crap in 4.0? Oh wow 10k for an hours work, and the ships cost 30 million. You do the math how much you making haha. Not playin. Oh and this is not the last wipe, hahaha BYE SC! That shot looks great though, sadly my Retailiator they turned into a useless cargo ship, before they wiped it in 4.0. Didn't get to enjoy much before they flopped on me.

Game is trash I play elite dangerous

I have been following Star Citizen since 2014. I didn't have a PC for it, and than I got a job and so SC could be with me finally. And I got lured into is spent tonnes of money, you know ship interiors. And before that and now I play Elite Dangerous. And I must say, all promised is Elite Dangerous, just no ship interiors. Both games had kick start in 2014. Elite is alive in a galaxy, milky way, Star Citizen is just a easy money for developers. And for us who love space and sci-fi a sweet carrot to get lured in. Nice dream but I am sorry for money wasted here. Do not take all the flashy commercials like I did. Its just a juicy carrot. I have 2200+ hours and I still play and love it. I have been with SC for 3 years now and -2200e. So no SC is not a good dream at least for us the players.

I'm 30 grand in , and the game is not on the same track as it was when I purchased ships , funding is over 750 million just for us buying ships , they have outside investors also including tencent . Roberts doesn't code and all but a couple devs are gone , roberts has been doing interns and kids out of college for coding .

Why is your ship faster than torpedos

My stance is that multicrew should be rewarding, but not forced. Being a newer player in the past year, the one thing I've been able to do with my friends is during free trial week/weekends I'm able to gather up a couple friends to hangout and run missions together using my Cutlass, but the problem is that there's 3 of us and only 2 of us really get to do something in the Cutlass that I bought. The co-pilot seat doesn't really add much on the gameplay features that we like to do compared to the pilot and turret seats. I think CIG must've seen a similar thing with the Corsair but now force part of the weaponry to be locked to the co-pilot, rather than having the option to switch over. The one ship I want is the Redeemer so that my friends can all have a turret and something to do combat-wise, but I see many lists and people saying it isn't that great overall so I've just stuck with my Cutlass.

I would change my ship after losing a reclaimer, and buy the ship that destroy my ship.
