Yawn another Taurus recommendation. For the same amount of money ($200) you can get the Starfarer with almost 3 times the range and twice the cargo of the Taurus. Then you're not flying something like all the other girls.

Reclaimer is an old ship with old stats, tally have more hp than the reclaimer hull, and the reclaimer is one of the heaviest armor in the lore. Wait till rework for the flying tank

Without CCUs I would probably have 3 ships. Thanks to CCUs (and referral tokens), I have 12 ships and have spent about twice as much as I would have otherwise.

This was proof that most owners only liked the Corsair because of it's firepower.... remove that one selling point and those 'loyal' owners immediately melted it. They didn't actually care about anything else, not the personality, the utility or about the intended purpose of the ship, not the assumed purpose of it. Additionally, it was NEVER a solo ship, the Corsair has ALWAYS been a 4 man crew ship, there is NO argument or debate against that FACT. We all know that aspects and details of the ships are subject to change, from day 1 over 10yrs ago, there's a disclaimer on EVERY ship. The backers need to know what's going on YES but that doesn't entitled you to be a poiled child because you failed to manage your own expectations and made assumptions despite the facts being made clear from the start. The community saying "CIG nerf ships on purpose" are no different to those who copy paste 'Scam Citizen' everywhere. They're just not following development.

Pissing of the people that are paying your bills... CIG needs the players much more than the Players need CIG. Without the people financing their entire Company they are all unemployed. Without CIG we just have to go back playing something else.

I think people are looking at this ship all the wrong way... if youre going to command a Polaris, you need to change your mindset of how you play this game. Instead of thinking, "how can i run this on my own?" ask yourself "what people do i want to choose to help work together toward a goal?". This is a ship that for the first time we'll all have an proper REASON to come together and work as a real TEAM. Big capital ships are what are going to bring this community together and learn how to really work together and play TOGETHER and I'm proud that my Polaris will be at the forefront of change in game-play in the game. if +40 players can come together and come together and fight a world boss while fending off an apposing faction of +40 other players in WoW, they can definitely rally together as a 12-14 man crew for a ship like this.

You haven't flown an Ares Ion lately have you? I just flew mine for Save Stanton Phase 3 tonight. Once the fighters were down, I remained _stationary_ while in precision mode and firing at the Idris. My pip waved around like a drunk at a urinal. It was challenging to hit _the Idris_ let alone particular components. I keep it because I'm hopeful that Yogi will fix it, but at this point, even a Spirit C1 does more damage than the Ares Ion.

So don't fly it or make the life and death decisions or do combat just get in the back be a good little fuse boy.

The caterpillar is good for zero gravity multicrew loading. Being able to load from 9 different openings.

no connie owner whom has a right mind would trade the connie for a SL, to lose military grade armor and 4 size 5 cannons just for pitiful 120 scu is insane. anyone who has played the game for a while would have a common sense that in this game, weapon level 1-4 is one group, but level 5 is a totally different group. you don't trade in your size 5's, especially if the size 5s are pilot controlled, and the ship is solo-able. from the look of how CIG design their ships, new ships will be very hard to have pilot controlled size 5s, connie has it only because the design itself is super old.

Just get a starrunner. Cargo, smuggling, scanning, data running, put 2 graycat in it and go mining, solo ship, crew ship, fast ship.

I have a pretty interesting path for some of the ships I have in game. IF you were following the game 10+ years ago and you happened to pick up ships on concept sales these ships usually go up in price when released. my account has a Perseus for example but the CCU chain started with a gladius, -> starfarer -> carrack -> Perseus If I were to melt this chain it would only be worth 300 but obviously the Perseus if you buy it at this years IAE is not 300. THIS I think is where the big gains can be made... however it doesn't really work as well anymore as CIG are usually better about pricing their ships even on concept. the big ship for me was the carrack on concept was "cheap" compared to its current price tag.

What if the ship your love the most flying is a kraken or an idris. 😂 I always hear death of a spaceship and death of a spaceman. If this is the case I say death of my wallet.

It’s never about how much you saved on one ship. The number that matters is how much we spent on cig all together . I recommend one dream ships by ccu chain so the player will actually learn it and keeping the package starter as a convenient second. But I could understand having two chains , with each chain you should be able to test a few ships as you go up the list . Generally under 200 ship worry less about lti . Remember goals of ships to add to their fleet in game

i rather have more cargo.. and the option to put in vehicles :P but i guess noone thinks like that anymore.. Taurus objectivity easier to load. its an hassle to load the starlancer. altough i like the form better. other than that its speed and all is way better. Starlancer is fine.. as long they dont put an cargogrid on the back, i dont see extra uses than the Taurus. Taurus is the best option on this amount of freight.

CCU's are pure scam.

Don’t forget when the Taurus gets its gold standard it will have the fastest unload of any ship in the verse. You’re supposed to be able to hit a button and dump the cargo out the bottom, that said I am going to the Stancer Mac’s.

The CCU game is annoying at the very least. We spend a lot of money to have ccus sitting on our accounts. It is good if you want to buy an expensive ship you know you will keep forever......but I doubt you will keep that ship forever lol

Taurus >> Starlancer MAX It's amazing how people want to say how Starlancer is better than the Taurus without making a test loading with both. Because if you do that, you will see that the Taurus is way better. You will realize that the tractor beam in the Taurus DOES HELP. You will see that to make full use of the Starlance MAX cargo hold, you will need to use its garage. And it's hard to load two different cargo holds. So, yeah. Starlancer MAX is a worse cargo ship than the Taurus.

i like to sometimes buy CCUs for concept ships i might enjoy and take the time till its release to collect some discount tokens, that way im not instantly locked on that ship and may have quite a discount when its ready, i think for my polaris token i collected CCUs for like 2 years and can get it for 400 less than the full price, i would never have bought it otherwise
