Journalist in motorsport since 2009, I wanted to create this UA-cam channel to share this passion with you, but in a different way. Legendary cars driven to legendary drivers, meetings, documentaries, that's all we will try to offer you. A channel for real petrolheads ! Beautiful cars, good sound and good moments with famous driving aces !
Ferrari 250 GTO vs Ferrari 250 SWB - Crazy day on the road with Ben Tréluyer and Manu Collard !
🇬🇧 Living from your passion is a gift from heaven. But I have this chance. During my career as a journalist, I have seen many beautiful things. But when the shooting of this video started and I found myself at the wheel of the van with the friends of the film crew, I wiped away a tear. It's not for everyone to follow a 250 SWB Ferrari along the beautiful roads of the Vaucluse. Especially this one... But when it is accompanied by a 250 GTO with an equally incredible pedigree, it is impossible to remain indifferent. I will never forget this day of shooting. We had the opportunity to film two of the most mythical cars in history and I still can't believe it...
To drive these beauties, we chose two famous drivers. One you already know from Once Upon A Car: Benoît "Poy" Tréluyer, joined by his pal Manu "La Légende" Collard. Here too, it's heavy, very heavy even. And you know what ? Despite their experience, they were like children aware of how lucky they were to drive such beauties. They simply sat in the place of Jo Schlesser, Phil Hill or Olivier Gendebien! Yes, I swear... I won't tell you more, the rest is in the video.
Keep your eyes open, but also your ears (headphones are strongly advised) to enjoy the incredible sound of these Italian V12. And a piece of advice, stay until the end, it would be a real shame to miss the onboard cameras.

🇫🇷 Vivre de sa passion est un don du ciel. Mais j'ai cette chance. Durant ma carrière de journaliste, j'ai vu de belles choses, de très belles choses. Mais quand le tournage de cette vidéo a débuté et que je me suis retrouvé au volant du fourgon avec les potes de l'équipe de tournage, j'ai écrasé une larme. Arpenter les splendides routes du Vaucluse en suivant une Ferrari 250 SWB n'est pas donné à tout le monde. Surtout celle-ci... Mais quand en plus elle est accompagnée d'une 250 GTO au pedigree tout aussi incroyable, impossible de rester de marbre. Jamais je n'oublierai cette journée de tournage. Nous avons eu le loisir de filmer deux des voitures les plus mythiques de l'histoire et j'ai encore du mal à réaliser...
Pour emmener ces beautés, nous avons choisi deux pilotes de renom. L'un que vous connaissez déjà sur Once Upon A Car : Benoît « Poy » Tréluyer, rejoint pas son pote Manu « La Légende » Collard.
Là aussi, ça pèse lourd, très lourd même. Et vous savez quoi, eux aussi, malgré leur vécu, étaient comme des gamins conscients de la chance qui a été la leur de conduire de telles merveilles. Ils se sont tout simplement assis à la place de Jo Schlesser, Phil Hill ou encore Olivier Gendebien ! Si si, je vous jure... Je ne vous en dis pas plus, le reste est dans la vidéo.
Ouvrez bien les yeux, mais également les oreilles (port du casque fortement conseillé) pour vous délecter du son incroyable de ces V12 italiens. Et un conseil, restez jusqu'au bout, ce serait vraiment dommage de rater les caméras embarquées C'est parti !

Boy, to Hear the Wail of a V12 is an amazing Experience. The Audio is EXCELLENT. To see 2 of the most iconic Ferraris being Driven hard,...WOW! I got a nice Ride in a pedestrian 275 GTB, but it was NOTHING compared to these 2 wonderful Cars!!

Il faut remercier l'heureux propriétaire de ces deux belles autos; Oui il possède les deux et est de surcroit français! Les amateurs savent bien de qui il s'agit. En revanche un bémol concernant le commentaire sur la GTO, je ne savais pas qu'il en manquait quelques exemplaires. A priori, elles existent toutes encore aujoud'hui.

Même si messieurs les pilotes vous êtes trop sérieux, n'est ce pas Mr Collard (d'accord il y à un petit sourire quand même) mais quel régal! On sent que la SWB est puissante mais civile, mais alors la GTO on sent la rage quand ça accélére! Un pur régal, j'ai eu la banane pendant toute la vidéo! FANTASTIQUE

I love the GTO - but my all-time favorite is the 250 SWB! The lines and proportions on that car, in my opinion are perfect. What a joy it must have been to drive them on those roads. Oh, and thank you for a great video of them both.
I very much agree with you Mike. The proportions are spot on, and the looks are beautiful, and of the 60's. Many of the styling houses designs are very avant garde, and whilst exciting, don't always age well. This does.
I know the GTO is like the holy grail of cars but I just don't see the attraction 🤷🏻♂️ The SWB, for me, is just perfect 🥰
