Climbing Mount Eagle, the main air pipe for the clutch fan split. which caused the engine to get hot and also I lost air pressure so I got onto the shoulder before I ended up stuck on the carrigeway.
HOT SHOT - HOT SOAK !!!

I change the fuel filter and prime up the new fliter with a strong injector cleaner then leave it to " hot soak" the fuel delivery system. after a nice coffee, I take the Pete out onto the interstate and drive it hard to finish off the cleaning process. lots of turbo sounds, big cam roar and ofcourse, Jake brakes !!!!!!

@mr.wizard6891 That's a question that has many answers.
Sounds good 👍
Trucking jobs pay

The only acceptable soundtrack to this kind of video.
@lclfav2 I been traveling these highways, been doing things my way , its been making me lonesome , onry, and mean !!👍
All I can say is thank you.. I am 51 in the next couple months. My father drove an emerald green two tone 1978 352 cabover when we moved to Palmdale Ca. He worked for an equipment contractor called Northridge Equipment Rental. They provided for The movie studios and for aerospace. He always came home for lunch. When he showed up in that beautiful green 352 cabover, I knew there was a chance he would take me with him. Watching this and just seeing the dash and the woodgrain and the sound brings back so many amazing memories!!. I lost him two years ago and you allowing all of us and especially me to just ride with you is an absolute gift to me.. He was, always has, and always will be my every day working man hero!! I miss him incredibly.. Thank you again for this video. It brought me smiles and tears. Good tears though. Just the sound!!! That Jake!! This is when I love youtube.
Well sir ,I'm very grateful you like the video and your comment is very touching. I have similar memories of riding in a truck with my father as a young boy. I'm working hard at keeping it on the road, and I'm currently planning on returning with some new work ! Sharing your memories with me is very kind and im very appreciative for it. It's not easy keeping an old truck going and sometimes I just feel like giving up , but comments like yours are very encouraging, so thank you, and I hope you enjoy future clips.
Thank you. I enjoyed that video, brings back memories old and some newer. In 77 the outfit I was driving for purchased 2 352’s. We hauled hanging beef back from southern Alberta to Toronto, and Montreal. The Airtrack suspension in the Pete’s where good on high center of gravity loads, better than the torsion bar suspension in the cab over K 100’s we had. A few years later I rented a 352 while my K 100 was being repaired. I was down near Rio Grand City Texas heading empty from unloading in Lorado to McAllen when a couple of kids through chunks of concrete block and put the windshields out of the truck. One chunk knocked one of the three AC vents right off the dash into the bunk. Not good. I had glass shards in my one eye. Your video highway reminds me of U.S. 54 across Kansas, Oklahoma, and the Texas Panhandle. I used to run that route going on trips to lower California. I’m 71 now, still drive, but started staying local about a year ago. Some days I miss the highway, but other days, I’m content to be pulling into my driveway. The 77 352 I drove had a 435 silver 92. Not a favourite of mine in the hills going around Lake Superior in Northern Ontario. Turbo in combination with a blower had a wicked lag. As for keeping an older truck on the road, I owned and drove my 82 K 100 VIT for 26 years, drove it all over North America. New owner is currently doing a complete restoration. Good to see someone else taking good care of the old gal. Parts were getting harder to find. KW stopped building that cab around 2000. by that time the cab had changed to the E model since about 86. Anyway, thanks for having me along for the ride.
That turned into a bit of a chew on, but I bet your arms and shoulders are thankful.
There's a fella named Steve who has a UA-cam channel called "FSC Trucking", he might know where you can get some bushings, he also runs a cabover Pete, just a thought, cheers brother.
This engine`s sound is amazing.
Perfect background music….. great sounding rig
Did you have any problems driving an old truck in California
This video was made whilst driving a kenworth 660. The elog went down, so I used paper logs.
Love it,brings me back to the real truckin days. Awesome.!
Kuzula kuzala
Such a classic I love the truck and the sound too! 😊🤟

Big cam 400
This video is a vibe, and I'm diggin' it. Thanks for putting out there for us!
My pleasure! This is with my 400 injection pump on, I'm currently running a 350 pump as I sent my 400 off for some tweeks. its back now so should be back on soon.

You're a long way from the Black Country, pal! Couple of questions. What weight were you pulling here, and at what rpms are you shifting up? It sounds like about 1800/1900 ish. Also sounds like you cap the jake speed at about 2000 ish?
Only the dull left behind !
@@rjhtrucking5429haha! I guess so! I left for Canada 20 years ago. Whats the big cam like in fuel economy when fully loaded?
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to make these video's.
Love the channel

Привет из России. Я тоже работаю водителем грузовика. Подписался на ваш канал, интересно будет посмотреть. От моторного тормоза наверное устаёшь сильно, по ушам бьёт.
Stil fantastic! Love it!👍👍👍
Truck is shit
american wreck😂
Greek and bankrupt !
You can get new hub pilot hubs down the road, if you don't want to deal with the bud wheels. One stud or nut seems to always strip when I take them off.
New axles are coming soon.
You have an interesting accent. Where are you from? Shoot videos of your trips more often.
Keep on trucking brother
Pop your hood there driver & let's take a look. 😊 Glad your coffee cup didn't hit the windshield
855 Cummins!💪
Man you bring back memories I was coming down wolf creek pass loaded jake brakes screaming and I love your cabover Pete👍🏿 now that is texted book on how to come down a mountain loaded 👍🏿👍🏿I bet you didn't even touch the brakes
friend, I have been following you, you have a good truck, I have a Kenworth K100 86, they are the best, greetings from Mexico, I hope you upload more videos on the road, greetings.
Steering wheel holders like that ❤️LandEx don’t need to be behind the wheel. You got a sweet ride with some nice sounding Jakes. Love seeing old rides still earning their keep. Be safe driver.
Интересно, у водителя есть запасные уши?😅😅😅
Зверюга.
Hey I’ve seen you out in Iowa and Minnesota before. Tried to call out to on the cb and give you props on the truck. Stay safe drivah nice ride.
I've got my antennas on now and cb all tuned in. I'll keep my ears open for you . Cheers mate.
Ого вибрации, представляю ощущение после рабочего дня
The roar of the engine can drive you crazy at the end of the flight😬.
I love it brings back memories
I used to drive every day 350 Cummings 13 od with a 24 ft fruhauf
5.8 miles to the Imperial gallon?! You might as well have Mohammed bin Salman riding in the cab with you 😃
Photo of truck on side of the road with cab up reminds me of bad fuel filter change to get power back or turning up the pump so “She will Stroll” Mid80’s when trucking was fun and wild!
Have you seen f.s.c. Trucking ( nice pete
