Okay the inner smallest tube is where the pump does the sucking surrounded by the sponge that traps the dirty when it is sucked up the large outer tube then down into the middle tube where dirt gets trapped by the sponge so it doesn't get into the pump

same as the large one but smaller

what that does is allows you to clean the dirt without loosing the water

But how does the dirt goes in it do u add anything to create suction or something like that...? Or just to make and keep it in the tank and it get dirt cleaned automatically...?

yes you can - 5/8 inch elbow, 6 inch tube, small spray bottle, air stone & hose, top sponge 15ppi, carbon or media and lower sponge 25ppi and of course an air pump. Thank you for asking.
