You don't need the hole, just blow the air past the end of the tube. Works the same.

I'm replacing the pump on my 05 5.3L. One question after watching your description of the pressure relief valve ratings. If they are designed to open at 20psi, then why do many (good) engines idle at 40, or reach even higher at higher throttle? Why doesn't the open relief valve hold the pressure at a steady 20 psi at all times?

Great video! Question: what is the thread size for the 90° elbow connector supplied with the HV5902 please? The part that screws into the block is 3/4 male, but I'm unsure about the other side (female), having an inner diamter of 19mm... (slightly larger than 3/4). I just got mine delivered, but still need to order hoses & couplings. Probably its a common size for hydraulic hoses in the US... but I'm from Europe...

I'm gonna have to replace mine on my 06 Silverado, I ain't got what they are asking to replace so UA-cam and manuals nad self education...pray for me.

I use full synthetic 10w30 in my flat tappet SBC runs great! Conventional motor oil is tar don't fall for the myth people! Also your wrong about the cam being the highest point in friction, It is the piston ring to cylinder wall wear.

I’m having the same issue with 2006 silverado. Can’t bleed it. So I left it. Will check tomorrow. I did go top of the fluid-it did go down a little. I replaced all the metal lines. There should be a law against using those metal lines that rust and have no coating.

Hey I have an 84 big red where the nut and washer fell off. Someone put a nut on it that wasn’t the right thread and lo and behold the threads are pooched. Do you by chance have an idea what thread size that axle is?

These Ram trucks are crap. Im working on my sons 2002 Ram 4.7. Crank No Start. After a faulty radiator cap caused overheating. The ASD and Fuel pump relays don't activate. Its an electrical issue right now . Im now painfully tracing all the voltage and gnd wires first. Then checking all the sensors. No OBD codes were thrown. Hopefully the PCM isn't blown
