    Porque mi ktm50 sx 2013,mi hijo amda lento o se para por un momento,y empieza a tirar anticongelante,cual pudiera ser la causa?siento qie se calienta mucho,me pudoera ayudar?soy de México

    Thank you for this video ill be trying this tonight hopefully ill fix my sons overheating problem! I didnt do this procedure when changing out the coolant in my sons 2015 ktm 50!

    Hi i have a 2022 ktm sx50 and a 2019 tc50 the sx is weak on take off will barley break the tire loose and at top end wide open seems slow amd kinda sputtering where the tc launches on take off and flys at wide open the sx has 9hrs on it brand new im in the USA in boise idaho. The sx should be jetted stock so i couldn't see that being the problem as the tc is stock jetted and they come with the same jetts. Any idea?

    Bit like some earlier camrys same thing lift the front of the car up on the hoist about a foot to purge air i didnt think of that for this bike ive tried everything else ill give it a go thanks

    Top Video!!! I would like to ask you a little question. What a spark plug reference would you advise me to put in my ktm 50 sx 2016? advise the model that the bike brings or is there a spark plug reference that works better?

    Hi. Is is possible that sx 50 is burning cluth oil due to a leaking gasket like the bigger bikes?

    Also i dont have the correct radiator cap on as it was misplaced, its basicly a plasic lid from a mouthwash bottle with a hole drilled and a bit of rubber tube , its a real tight fit though and stays on not sure if this is anything to do with it or not thanks

      Hi yes you need the correct cap 100% as its set to the correct pressure the radiator needs

    Hi m8 i have the KTm SX junior. No water is circulating through the hoses/ Radiater system causing the bike to overheat. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

      Hi so you have taken the radiator cap off and had a look inside and the water is not circulating? If this is the case then you have a stripped water pump gear. You need to drain the oil remove the clutch and side housing and you will find the gear behind the housing. reasonably cheap to buy so at the same time replace water pump seal and impeller is old or damaged thanks.

      Thanks for the speedy reply, i have taken the cap off, and see no movement in the coolent , the hoses have no pressure in them when squeezed, / no coolent circulation. i was thinking failed water pump, do you reccomend checking the water pump impeller & bolt that turns the shaft for wear & tear first before replacing the water pump gear? Thank you so much in advance i know you dont have to help i appriciate it :)

      yes replace the shaft also if its got a noticeable groove in it

      Hiya buddy sorry to bother you again, quick update: i do actually see some movement of water in the radiator when the cap is off & engine running, the coolant level drops a cm or so with engine running, and then i turn engine off and coolant level rises back up. Do you think the wrong radiater cap could be the culprit then in this case? Thanks m8 i promise this is the last time i will trouble you :) liked and subscribed by the way :)

    How do you adjust the clutch the get the correct stall speed ?

      Hi what year KTM do you have ? pre 2012 you have a shoe clutch which you adjust either a washer Stack or springs 2013 -later you adjust the three click bolts that are visible when you remove the right hand side cover and rotate the clutch basket. You can do it with the oil still in the bike just lean the bike right over so the oil doesn't spill out when you remove the side cover.

      @@PWMADCONZ Hi, what carburetor jets (idling and main) would you recommend for the KTM 65 sx 2008. *The carburetor is a Dellorto racing red edition 21mm DS 2912 for 2 stroke engine.

      Nickael7 Hi it's not a matter of recommending pilot and main jets, you need to tune the bike properly by starting with the pilot jet (idle to mid range) valve needle and clip (mid range to top end ) and the main jet WOT there's a few forums on how to do this as its a little more involved than just throwing in jets. Search tuning two stroke carburetors is a good start. Hope this helps thanks

      Hi i ve just brought a second hand ktm sx 50 mini 2015 and it seems like the clutch is dragging .ie revs higher and back wheel spins when lifted. It feels like it wants to pull forward a little when on the ground amd sometimes stalls. Is there a adjustment or am i going to have to remove the clutch and inspect it? Hope it is a common issue and it can easily be rectified cheers Adam

      @@fixitmoditbreakit7982 HI Adam the 50sx the clutch will drag when cold as the bike and oil warms up there will be less drag. You need to start the bike when the rear wheel is off the ground so a small stand is best and you will find it will not stall. if it rev's to high adjust the idle. If it continues to stall adjust the idle air mixture screw on the left hand side of the carburettor. Clutch oil is important use Dextron III no thicker Change every 2 Hours use, or if you're feeling rich use Nytro oil from Intutive racing you can change every 4 hours of use. After all this you still need to do a stall speed test and set the clutch clickers so the rear tyre (when at running temperature) engages at around 8800 - 9000 rpm.

    I fixed all my ktm50 problems by buying Japanese 4 strokes! Now I've got 3 pieces of shit to get rid of! I'm over the pieces of shit! Ktm 50 has failed and they will be fucked up the ass by Cobra! I don't want to see that happen if they don't smarten up and address their issues instead of pumping out 5k kettles year after year they are gunna loose and it's their own fault
