This series of track side videos is from testing sessions as the car is still in development. Power output was at its lowest setting (~470whp) for both TMP and Mosport.

First ever session at Mosport or Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. During this session I realized the power steering pump we used was not going to be powerful enough for this build as it would cut out through higher load corners.

We resolved the remote water pump issue and ran an idle test to full operating temperature to test.

After a weekend of tuning the newly rebuilt motor we ran her through the gears to make sure everything works before a track event in June. The power output is around 850hp, not under 1000hp as mentioned at the end of the video.

Last year we had the bottom-end fail due to tolerance issues. This weekend we returned her after a full engine rebuild. She’s strong as ever. Sounds great too.

For it's track debut we're running a low 14.5 lbs of boost. We managed a responsive 420 whp.

      That sound is coming from the dyno. The exhaust is very quiet. Something we may change for next year.

      Thank you. CCW C10s. She was on track briefly this year before we had some issues under the hood. Next year I’ll have better in-car footage, drive by etc. Maybe I should set up a Gofund me page to put together a production crew for an event next summer?

      The seed was planted in 2005 and began building it in 2008 and finished it last week. So a very long time. :)

    all the weight reduction needed to make a supra handle well must have been a pain

      To handle at this level yes weight reduction is necessary. My street Supra handles better than most cars on track and has very little weight reduction. It’s more about setting the car up properly. Think of a GTR and how well it turns for it’s weight.

      @@arpushp yeah, the only difference i see is the gtr has a crazy AWD setup for the time to help distribute power to help with the handling, its nice seeing a supra like this instead of a crazy highway racer build, i dig it

      Thank you! We had a major set back today. The external dry sump pump failed during the second lapping session so the motor has to get rebuilt. It still starts, but there is damage by the sounds of it. It's unfortunate. Hard to believe as the pump is from one of the best suppliers there is in the states.

      No, I don't have an Instagram acct. I am planning on doing a couple Time Attack events this summer along with some lapping events to develop the chassis. Next year I may consider entering the Ontario GT series.

      @@arpushp okay nice, great, what are the specs of the car? sequential box, weight, power, running on slicks?

      @@slonjdmsupra It has a 6 speed sequential with paddle shift. Weight when it's finalized will be around 2950 lbs. That's with 90 litres of fuel and all other fluids. Power for the most part will be dialed around 650 whp. I'll have a "Fun" mode with somewhere around 800whp. We still need to find out what she produces at higher boost (26lbs.). Slicks for sure.

      @@slonjdmsupra Thank you very much. It's been a very long road building this dream project. It's a Holinger transmission. We're tuning this week with around 18-20 lbs for the first time and will post a video later this week. The goal is to get her to around 2900 lbs. I think that's about as light as she will get. That's with all fluids. There's 20 litres of engine oil alone with the dry sump system. The cage is about 30 lbs heavier than normal as my priority is safety. She's on an extreme diet and don't see where we can massage any more weight out of her. It you take all the fluids away it's about 2650 lbs. which is very lite for this chassis. Good luck with your build. It's taken me 17 years since the seed was planted in my head. :)
