Переглядів 40 тис.4 місяці тому
Welcome to @HuntPlans. In 2023 we decided to take a longtime dream, of a moose hunt - and turn it into a reality. We spent months planning, preparing getting ready for this hunt- which was to be a very remote rafting float hunt, accessed by float plane. This wasn't meant to be, the transporter had issues with all of his planes - forcing us to decide on whether to go or not. We made a last minut...

Awesome video and scenery cool👍🏾
Hello, Did the charger existed when you made your video and does it solve your problem for choosing, or does it make no difference ? Thank you for your answer and thanks for your videos
16 miles in 4 hours.. 4 mph.... not likely....but possibly
Good stuff. I find myself looking at the landscape shots to see if you were in the same area we've been hunting. Just finished the film of our second trip hunting moose in Alaska. It's a lot of work but so worth having that visual journal. Well done fellas!
Curious what your rifle/rings/scope setup is that had issues? Might look into degreasing all your screws and using loctite/nail polish/paint pen when you retorque. Also what kind of rafts? Thanks, looks like a good time!
Interesting! Olight should get rid of this magnetic charger! By today's standards type C is way better! Both lights look nice!
Thanks for sharing !
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it!
great video! what brand/model teepee is that? would you recomend it?
It is the Seek Outside - Redcliff Light. Highly Recommended! We also have a Seek Outside - 8P Tipi. If anyone is interested in a comparison video let us know!
Hey .. great video, thanx!!
Thank you, we appreciate it!
I just got the kuiu pack system. I can't believe after receiving it how many other packs I see on youtube where it looks so sloppy when walking. The lids looks like slop and the bag looks like it has a mind of its own when on the back. Damn. They are quite expensive too.
Unfortunately all good packs come with a price tag. KUIU are good packs, but if you get them too large and don’t have the gear to fill them then ya they do feel a bit sloppy. We try and compress them tight when not full. There are a few other really good packs out there - some we definitely would like to try and give our thoughts on.
Awesome hunt! What type of camera are you using? The footage is great!
Thanks! We used the GoPro Hero 11 for most of it, with some iPhone footage. This year we have a number of hunt’s planned and are currently looking at fixing up our mic setup to improve the audio in the future, as well as some other camera options for more shot options than the GoPro can offer.
Fenix e18r - When I lightly rub the side button with my thumb, I can feel some play. It wobbles a little. Is it normal?
Mine does not have any wobble. You may want to reach out to Fenix if it is still under warranty.
Get the premium comes with the case which keeps it charged and will charge other stuff bidirectional usb c plug makes the Olight a superb product
I will have to take a look at that. I do hesitate as if something happens to the case I have the same issues on charging. I prioritize everything to be usb-c rechargeable so I can use any battery or solar charger to get me going again.
Awesome watch. Looks like a similar hunt i did, is this unit 13 by chance??
Glad you enjoyed the video! No, this was not in 13. We were further north.
thank you for sharing your journeywith us ,beautiful country and an experience to remember. next time will be better , never give up on your dreams ,
Alaska has its hook into us now. There will be a next time and I’m sure it will be another amazing experience!
looks like a good trip even if there were no moose. That area is pretty thin moose population and is hunted pretty hard. but moose are shot every year off that river, you had a better chance out there then home on the couch!
It was an amazing trip - even with such a low population of moose in the area. We learned a lot, which is key to future success. We did hear of a few resident hunters that took some smaller bulls (different size requirements than us non-residents) as well as the non-resident guys we met who took the smaller (yet legal) bull on the river.
Thanks for taking us along, Wildman! Great video and great commentary, sitting here in my living room in Arkansas!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 keep em comin!
Hey, Thanks for the kind words! We appreciate it as we start out on this new journey of UA-cam. We have a number of exciting hunts planned for this coming season, and are planning to do a number of gear videos along the way. Let us know if there is something you would be interested in seeing! Really excited for the rest of 2024!
