5:15:37 i can't even imagine living back in a time where you can't borrow friends clothes without risking being arrested. Lol. Me and my girlfriends shared clothes all the time and it was most fun when they were clothes you couldn't afford yourself. I mean, I don't really know much about this time other than reading regency romance novels but this is the 1st one that mentioned being arrested for dressing outside their station. And lots have had a cook or maid or governess that dukes and such fall in love with???

This is one of the best audiobooks I have listened to yet!!!!!!

So glad I've found this playlist. Love the depth of characters and flow of the storylines.

I'm telling you, if a man who felt he loved me but constantly diminished my character in his mind at the drop of a hat, I'd be out of there. I do want to visit Cornwall now, though.

I love the story, but I also wonder if women were ever this stupid. Or is it made up filler to fill the pages of a book. It just makes the story a little like drudgery. I realize social norms at this time in history, but not speaking the truth to your spouse, just seems a little unbelievable.

I am so sorry to have come to then end of this beautiful series. This was such a lovely series book one and three were my favourites, not taking anything away from book 2 which was also beautiful. At times this story so reminded me of Jannette Okes When Calls the Heart with the mines etc. Thank you again Deborah for sharing your heart felts words with us and Vicky you really are one of the best Narrators.
