I use both techniques here in the UK for my saltwater bass fishing, I do find though that to correctly get the rapid Poppin you need a fairly stiff tip, a soft tipped rod pull's the lure out of the water, great chanel keep up the great work 🎣🇬🇧

Hi popper and stickbaits , I have a trip planned to the andamans in 2025, I understand that you really rate this rod, but would it be upto heavy jigging there?, I guess we will be targeting dogtooth, and GTs and I'm looking to reduce tackle hire costs by buying a functional jigging outfit, probably going to fit it with a saragosa 10000 if that's appropriate, but I'm open to any other advice! Try the orion flapper , its a GT magnet , its bigger then the GT icecream, but less resistance in the water when reel in , you can cast all day, also his Tropic sinking stickbait is a super GT magnet , you can order easy from his website,

What's the lb test for that braid?

I fish these a lot in the south Caribbean. Blackfin and yellowfin tuna's love these. Very easy to fish. I haven't had any issues with them not being wired through. Fishes well on a PE3 or 4 outfit.

Tasline isnt the best on the market but its a great all rounder, no bullshit, no lies braid. I rekon about 80% of other braids lie about thickness and strength. Im swapping all my reels to tasline as im an aussie and I want to support a company doing the right thing.
