My relationship with my hair changes when I found a Denman brush. Gently detangling in the shower during washing and proper distributon of the conditioner works best for me. Also, detangling and styling products with marshmellow provides the slip I need for styling with less damage. My hair is about 2C/D coily with low porosity.

I’ve BEEN saying the same thing about those energies people harbor!!! You never know even if it’s unintentionally placed within your woven, twisted, or manipulated hair, that energy has still been placed there and you gotta watch out. Especially for those who do the root work to cause you harm😶👀

Another reason why you shouldn't let other folks touch your hair is because when you pay someone to have it done, they want to do a style that you didn't ask for you put something in your hair that you didn't give permission for in the first place. A person wants to have one style and ask for that style and the stylists or the barber wants to do something else that the client didn't ask for. The client is the one paying for the hairstyle so they should get the style that they want or ask for. It's disrespectful that the hair industry wants to steal folks money but ignore their pleas.

Our hair type is very close and I love that you said every 4C Hair is different because Design Essentials did not work for me omg and it was done professionally if you can believe it smh… my most defined curls came from Camille Rose products especially the mousse and I did mine myself I think it would work great for your hair too ❤

I agree with you!! My hair grows when I do it myself. So many hair salons today are not too clean. Many don't sanitize the Combs and brushes after each client or the towels.
