That or the on off button itself are the 2 most likely options for this problem. But you can't get those parts without going through customer service. I'm surprised we havnt arrived at the point yet where you could just buy parts and build your own scooter. Like radio controlled cars and airplanes from the hobby shop. Mountainbikes etc. .. Heck, you can buy the components to turn a bicycle into an electric bike. There's a market for this is scooter land it seems.

    • @angrybeard4673

      The spicer peak tent would not be a tent to consider for the cold. For one, it's a big tent. All the open air space will be working against any warmth inside. Secondly, it's baisically a screen ceiling that is covered over with a rainfly. The material is the typical thin nylon tent material. There is nothing about this tent that suggests it should be considered for any cold temperatures. Quite the opposite in fact. Kodiak canvas makes several canvas tents that would be worth looking at for that. Unless your hiking with it.

    If you want to see how REALLY fast ANY saw cuts; get a full chisel chain for it. You will be amazed! I've converted most; (seven of the the ten); of my saws to full chisel. These full chisel chains are somewhat 'delicate'; they won't stand the abuse that a semi-chisel chain will. Hit the ground once; and you are done! The chain will need sharpening. The semi-chisel chain that comes on most saws cut reasonably well and are very rugged. They are very forgiving of a lot of mistakes. But if you have clean wood and are careful to keep from hitting the ground; a full chisel; oh man!

    • @angrybeard4673
      @angrybeard4673 3 місяці тому

      I don't know this for a fact, I've never tested my theory. But my theory is that the small blue wire that is attached to the middle of the circuit board on the speed controller is the speed sense wire. Not the big blue wire under there but the small blue wire. Clip it and see, if it was wrong, just put it back together. Roll back the grip tape from the front, remove the speed control unit, clip the small blue wire. If I'm correct, it will no longer know how fast it's going. You'll most likely lose your speedometer and possibly the front regenerative braking. Over here in the USA they are limited to 20mph, 12 is a selectable option. We just cycle through the speed options by double tapping the power button. Though I have never actually tested my theory. I can tell that it is capable of over 20mph because I feel the computer holding it back. So, don't be surprised if it goes stupid fast when unlimited

Then if you have problems you vould just return it to best buy and avoid dealing with the manufacturer. There was no way I was just going to be ok throwing away 900 bucks. So my own arguably immoral option was going to be. To buy another one from best buy and then put this junk in the box and return it for a full refund a week later. Sooo. Goodluck. Chinese garbage. You will always have to repair it when it is new. The Chinese NEVER inspect or test products before they go to market. (Does not matter if it was engineered in the U.S ) Cheap Please do not get me started on the cheap knock off Chinese sparkplugs. (It/they are just evil. They know what they are doing) How many hours have been lost to repairing Chinese garbage and trying to work with Chinese parts? If you ask me it is a attack on the U.S. and the West. I blame DC, just as much as the Chinese, for selling us out and ripping us off. Anyone remember Made in U.S.A. parts and goods? DC or China or both have to go. Why the hell should anyone pay taxes? Pay DC to sell us out?
