Can anyone please elaborate on his comment re composite prop rain expensive ?
Early composite airplane propellers were known to erode in rain, but this issue has been resolved for over 20 years. To protect composite propellers from rain and stone erosion, they are usually fitted with a plastic or metal strip on the leading edge. Thats what I could find online but I'm no pilot or know anything about this but was also very curious. :)
Nice SAAA hat, mate! All the best!
Is this at rough river(2I3)? Great breakfast spot!
Yes it is.
Omg omg omg. I love Conard ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Thanks for posting this! I would have been there had I not lost my alternator on the way up. This event was tops on my list.
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it! Sorry to hear about your alternator.
Nice show. Liebe Grüße vom Aeroclub BEXBACH
Danke schön!
Omg they are Chemtrailing so low now. 😂😂😂
nice..... lol
@@SBAviator1 yes that was sarcasm
Stealth Bomber
This is the B-1, you're thinking of the B-2, which I'll upload as soon as I can find it... lol
Nice landing
Was a good landing, just cold.
Thank God for His Creation ❤️
Romans 1:20
Safe trip
Thank you!
Because Burt Rutan developed a different way to make an airplane it got attention. Many people flew who otherwise would not have flown. Thank you Burt & Dick Rutan. You got attention & sparked aviation. You can not be thanked enough.
He is still as sharp as a tack too…
Great mind, good education, hard work, perseverance, a fair bit of stubbornness... gets you a lasting legacy. Great example for future generations, congratulations mr & mr Rutan !
Well said!
Thanks for doing this, I was there but could hardly hear a thing over all the ambient noise.
You’re welcome! This year I worked to make sure the audio would be better. Far from perfect, but better than nothing.
Too bad experimental aircraft don't get the recognition that they used to. All we have now is a military show so we can pay our taxes and make ourselves feel good lol
It may start improving this next airshow. Big boys bring in the big money, but a lot of people are wanting change…
An excellent microphone used by Gary. Details please?
DJI Mic (version 1). They also have version 2 out now.
Thank you for uploading these, it is great that we have these aviable as an archive. Without this all this info would be lost.
You're welcome! I'm glad I've been able to do this.
You kids are probably not as competitive and have BIG dreams like this man had but then you didn't grow up building model airplanes with Testors glue (BIG dreams).
Kids… 🤣🤣🤣
@26:35 N716CZ Cozy IV taking off in the background.
Love the Cozy!
I love his comment that airliners are too reliable. We spend a lot more money a lot more effort making airlines just skosh more safe. If even a fraction of that money and effort was devoted on making other things in life safer it would have a lot bigger payoff. Because I’m in aviation, I have a bias for continuous improvement.
Burt does have some opinions…
Very very cool!! Thank you for capturing this. He’s such an important historical figure to aviation.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Spencer! Not a lot of questions were asked/answered, but Burt had fun.
Any time!
Thanks for making this available!
My pleasure!
How does Klaus measure his crankcase pressure?
You’ll have to contact him.
Nice job, Spencer! I wish I could have been there, but you seem to have captured everything. Thank you.
Thanks!
Thanks for doing this for us Spencer!
Great job!!!
@@boblee2533Thanks!
You’re welcome Dave! I hope to start doing a lot more of these.
