Zoysia Grass the Best there is! #lawn #grass #backyard #zoysia
Because they can tolerate wide variations in temperature, sunlight, and water, zoysia are widely used for lawns in temperate climates. They are used on golf courses to create fairways and teeing grounds. Zoysia grasses stop erosion on slopes, and are excellent at repelling weeds throughout the year. They resist disease and hold up well under traffic.

    If you want the best cool season turf grass nothing beats K-31 variety of tall fescue. It is the alpha male of the grass world. An absolute unit. Best in class drought stress, disease resistance, water retention, wear resistance, and pest resistance. Cut it high and it never dies.

  • @rh3309
    @rh3309 2 дні тому

    I agree zoysa is great, although there are some downsides to planting it in our region. It is a warm season grass so it stays brown and dormant much later into the spring and goes into winter dormancy earlier in the fall. It is also susceptible to many of the common weed controls we use in this region on cool season turf.
