Very good video, unfortunately though I think you broke the CR2032 battery connector. I think those 2 little metal tabs on the top snapped off when you put in the new battery, I noticed the orbs in the main menu staying still, which means the battery is dead, or not put in correctly.

This killed one of my ps3s. I kept the rest of it for parts. From what i read, its been proven these don't cause YLOD. The capacitor chips tokens right below the cell and RSX are what go bad.

I know it won't have the same nostalgic value as buildig a NES but if you want to build your own console from scratch it's much easier and cheaper to build a Uzebox or Uzebox Omega. I did it as my first ever electronics project and I've been having great fun hacking and improving the platform since.
