Imperial Surface 'Alumaluster' - Demo Reel
I'm slowly getting back into general content creations, this time with a more cinematic twist. In this video I'm painting a clients Halo helmet with Imperial Surface Alumaluster. This video also serves as a massive thank you to Imperial Surface for championing myself and so many others to get out there and continue making excellent props!

    Thank you! This video is amazing, I just received my pastels today! Also I’ve noticed that if you’re in a pinch a wash of acrylic paint also works as well but it won’t have that chunky effect

    If you use clear plastic, all you have to do is paint the non visor parts and tint the visor, or so I think, I have no idea what I am talking about in these terms

    That’s a koooool piece u made. If you cosplay ya gotta show it off. I’m sure people would buy it rn since Fallout is hot. As a Gun nut irl I have always wanted to make a functional improvised weapon from fallout. Specifically the pipe guns. The 10mm Val-Tech pistol would absolutely suck to shoot. It’s only saving grace would be it’s weight unless it’s stamped steel. Pipe guns in 38sp would be no better. Even if they were 9mm para with a gas blow back operation/ heavy bolt they would still be blowing gasses, smoke, and debris (shavings, un burnt powder) back into the face/hands of the shooter. Mechanics look mostly plausible but it’s a video game after all. A true 1:1 wouldn’t be totally safe or mechanically sound although I’m sure someone could get it to work.

    • @tright6
      @tright6 3 місяці тому

      If you wanna make a pipe gun I saw someone make an air soft replica of it. Completely homemade.

    • @sicsempertyrannis4613
      @sicsempertyrannis4613 3 місяці тому

      @@tright6 it’s a bit of a challenge with live ammo. Timing, tolerances, feed design, etc must all be taken into consideration. I’d probably choose a 22lr to avoid the whole thing exploding in my face but those are rim fire which will require the firing mechanism to be slightly offset from the center. A manual repeater (bolt action) might be a good start. Ngl idk if I’m ready for it but thanks for the positive thoughts😀

    • @tright6
      @tright6 3 місяці тому

      @@sicsempertyrannis4613 I highly reccomend not to make it use live rounds. Like it would probably explode in your face and kill you before you'll get a functional model.
