Just my opinion but it’s too much thinking. Swanson, you can hit great. Keep it simple; load early, create some separation, stay closed by thinking right center. That’s it IMO

Working the drills in front of a mirror would be huge, and mainly focusing on how each body part FEELS while you do the movements is important. Make some connections in terms of "where is my hand in accordance with my chest?", or ask "should my bottom hand stop at chest height?", or stuff along those lines. Then start to work the timing after you find a good zone to cock the hands. I love this type of content!

Pete Rose said it best. “Your swing got you to the big leagues, so why change it?” Make small adjustment. Pete said there were 6 things to do. Move up in the box, move back in the box. Move closer to the plate, move further from the plate. Choke up on the bat, choke down on the bat. Make 6 small positional adjustments but keep your swing.
