I wish I had known how difficult it was going to be going back to the oboe after playing the EH exclusively for a while. Going from oboe to EH is like a breath of fresh air, but going back to the oboe is very challenging!

Well done it’s sounds really good. Off topic though I really wish I could be as good as you at Oboe it’s been very hard learning it and finding the right reed for me and I’ve only just recently found it and I’ve been playing for months now I finally feel ready and I think I’ll be able to play without it sounding as horrible as it did when I had bad reeds thank for your videos they have helped me become inspired to play my oboe more

Lol, the last one.....i auditioned for Cleveland orchestra youth orchestra and elizabeth camus cut me off like not even 10measures in. I was so freaking nervous, i blew it....and besides, i only crushed it when i played the slow emo stuff vs the fast stuff...

I am the ONLY one in my HUGE school, I’m in 8th grade and started oboe super late since switching from flute and I’m in honors band bc if there’s only one of something they have to be in honors and my sound sticks out so much lolll 😭😭my band director is able to help most every other instrument, and then she just looks at me and just says she hopes I’m doing it right 💀💀

The exactly kind of music that i hate to play. You made it sound good somehow but i literally hear no melody in there, its just weird syncopation and number and key just for the sake of making a difficult song. It doesnt actually sound good, the simple songs actually sound better a lot of the time 😂.
